Oh yeah. I love me some yams! That's a great idea. Will have to plan to cook that while I'm baking the chicken.

You might want to try yams/sweet potatoes. They add great flavor, microwave/reheat really well. I like to have a half of one about an hour before working out. Yum!

I let spark do all the calculations then just paired them down in MS Word so they weren't huge.

I like their ground flax seed too. I add it to my breads, oatmeal, and other random things. Yum! I am running out of muesli so I think I am going to try and make my own later this week.

Loren, This is really good. I like how you figured out your meals' nutrition stats.
I'm loving Bob's Red Mill products. I just bought some milled golden flaxseed tonight to stir into my yogurt.

Thanks for the positive feedback! I've been at this weight loss thing for a while and am not usually this organized. But I've decided to really give this a try and see what happens :)

Wow Loren!! I've never been as organized as you are about, ANYTHING!!!
If you can be that specific and scientific consistently... you are bound for WAY more success!!
Good Luck girl, the first thing that I have noticed about Eating Clean, is that I just plain feel better, and I'm not hungry or shaky... the 6 meal thing is key... I love that part!
Pack that cooler and stay strong emoticon

my favorite easy thing to throw in the cooler is :
1 whole wheat wrap, spread with Natural Nut Butter (almond is fave)
1 banana, any berries you have on hand, half a sliced apple is good too
sprinkle flax seed (tablespoon if you can)
roll up in saran wrap
add a pear, green tea bag in thermos of water and Go!

Have you seen Tosca's cooler plans? Are you packing a cooler for your day? What tips do you have for planning your meals snacks?
List your 5 meals (6 if you needed that last one.)

Maybe you are not actually "packing" your cooler, but you are still putting together meals? That counts. I would love new ideas for my cooler!!
