THey changed the ame but it's a Team led by Coach Nicole called SparkPeople's Official Swimsuit Bootcamp it's a one month challenge that starts tomorrow. I'm excited. They will be posting exercise videos and such.

I tried the single leg squats with toe touch... and found out my balance is atrocious! I will need to work on that... :-)

I have not been doing the exercise of the day because most look to advanced for me but since I see the rest of you are at least trying, I will too!

This is just a curious question, can you somehow put a chair in front and rest your leg on it, while going down on one leg? I'd go poof to the floor if I tried it, but it might work for others.

Also, I don't have a stability ball, so I'm going to do the exercise with out it!

I am not happy cause two days in a row I couldn't do the exercise of the day. Does anyone have any advice on how I can modify todays exercise so that I am not putting all my body weight on my bad ankle?

SPJ9999: I work crazy hours all over the place so I rarely work at the same time. Really when it comes down to it, yes it is nice to work out in the morning so that it is done for the day but it is whatever time works best for you to maintain a consistant routine.

MEPAL05: This doesn't put any pressure on your ankle, it is a core exercise. Look on the right hand side of your screen, scroll down a little and you will see Exercise of the Day for a demonstration.

If you don't have dumbbells, maybe you can use canned goods?

I did 2 sets of today's exercise - the dumbbell pullovers. I don't have a bench so I used a long stair that I have for step ups. emoticon

looks like todays exercise is the forward lunge with the dumbbell press...any way to achieve this without access to dumbbells?

i am gonna go light on exercise this week, probaly just use my ball while i am working, by bouncing and wiggling while i type LOL but this week i am working on inputing EVERYTHING i eat and drinking my water each day.. if i can do this i will be SO happy!! 2 days down 5 to go :o)

I look forward to doing the daily exercise challenge, but for today I am stuck at work until midnight so no Dumbbell Chest Presses for me today. I wish I would have remembered the challenge before I came to work today. Good news is that I did do some walking.

Amanda, I always measure more by my clothes then the scale because I seem to lose the inches faster then the actual pounds.
Sounds like you guys have a great routine and its awesome that he goes with you too! I have been trying to get my boyfriend to start working out with me but so far so go...

Well I did the Planks, those were difficult!!
And M-W-F My hubby & I go to the gym (Sundays too but just to swim and relax in the hot tub). We've been going for about a month now, I haven't lost much yet according to the scale, but my clothes fit better!

I walked 30 minutes. I am going to take this week to 'ramp up' to working out. I don't want to do too much at once or I'll get overwhelmed.

But I DID do my 30 minute walk, which was my goal, so yay me!

I did lower arm curls with 2 lb weights. I can't lift my upper arms especially over my head without my right one killing me. I'm thinking I may need to head to the doctor if it doesn't get better soon. I have no idea what I did to make it hurt so.

They should have alternate exercises of the day. I pulled one of my deltoid muscles and I can't do that one this week. I will do some leg exercises in place of this weeks exercise and hopefully I will be better next week.

While I'm waiting for you to join, I did the:

Triceps Dips with Bent Knees
Bending your legs makes this exercise easier for beginners.
