Tigerlillee,
I love, love, love to stay up late & sleep all day. But you are so right, you can't get anything accomplished when you do that.
4 days a week I have to get up at 4AM for work. So I don't get to sleep in very often.

I really have not had much to be proud of, lately. I've really fallen apart. But today I had a very productive day at the gym. I'm hoping to get my dedication back!

For the second day in a row, I went for a brisk walk after the kids left for school instead of crawling back into bed! This kills two birds with one stone. It implements my plan to be more active this year, and it helps me get on a better schedule so I can make the most of my time. I figure if I stay up in the morning, I will get tired earlier, go to bed at a decent time instead of staying up too late then being too tired to face my day, sleeping half of the morning away, then not having enough time in my day to do everything that needs to be done! Here's to new beginnings.... AGAIN!

A very unexpected half-day off, so I made the most of it.

*Got my ID renewed, for work ( always a horrendous endeavor!)
*Stopped at 4 stores
*Went to the bank
*Got my daughter a state ID
*Made it to the gym

I might even make dinner - lol!
Feel very proud that it was such a productive day!

Well..its been awhile since I've really had anything to be proud of.

But today was pretty good. I had a ton of errands to do: Had to get my bimonthly packet for work done & delivered, got to the gym, hit the grocery store and then came home and made dinner.

I did all my exercises today. emoticon


I got want to do it and do this for me. My mind is in battle and my body is at war. I'm in battle with myself and if I can over come myself than I can over come it all and do it one day at a time, let it go and get one step closer to my goal.

3 months since I posted here, not very proud of that!

But today I'm proud that I worked 11hours. Stopped & picked up my 5K race packet, on my way home. Came home and got my office's paperwork organized and ready to be sent to the corporate office. And, I was able to spend some time on SparkPeople.

Way to go Carly!

I've been trying to make a list of goals, each day. I try and have a few hard ones, a few easy ones and maybe a just for fun one. For the most part, I've been pretty good about meeting them. I'm pretty proud about that!
Strange how today, I couldn't get the 'just for fun' goal done. Sometimes there just aren't enough hours in the day...even for fun.

I'm really proud of myself, today. I made a list of goals I wanted to accomplish today & got them all done.
Including a 9 mile bike ride and I went to the gym & did 40 min. on the CrossRamp.
I also kept my calories came in under 1550

Work ~ 5:45A Computers down & I had to show everyone how to do manual check-in. Flight left 18 min. late. Not bad at all, considering we were looking at approx. 2+ hour delay.

A productive day!

* Went to daughters swim meet
* Got all the graduation party invites addressed
* Grouted the tile on the bar
* Touched up the grout in the bathroom
* Returned a book & 2 swimsuits to one of my BFF's

I'm proud of all I got accomplished today.


* Up at 4:15A for work, got my bimonthly reports done & sent to corporate.

* Went downtown for lunch, to meet some Spark friends, from SparkChicago - The Official Team. So glad I went, it was fun!

* Walked almost 2 miles today, whew it was 92 degrees & I was in jeans emoticon

* Got the top of my patio bar tiled

Yay!

Yesterday, I had an hour walk outdoor and than hit the Y for another 40 mins on the treadmill on incline.

Long-term Goal: To overcome my hesitation and stay focused long enough no matter what happens in my life.

Medium-Term Goal: Reaching my goal 5% at a time.

Proud to say that I accomplished some tomato canning today. Got 4 jars of Italian tomatoes spiced with basil, good for stewing or in other tomato recipes. Then did 5 jars of tomato soup.

The choir anthem I chose for today was very impressive to the congregation. They clapped after we finished. My soloist did a good job and the choir came in on the refrain. It was a very festive song for the feast of the Ascension. (I am the choir director/organist) emoticon emoticon
