Good Sunday to Everyone! today is the last day of this week's roll call, we can get the next one started up tomorrow!

March seems to be flying by already....

Moxy: Wow, you have so much going on right now! Congrats to hubs getting a lead role! Very sorry to hear about your friends dad and I hope your friend pulls through, sending you thoughts and prayers!

MJ: Glad to hear the surgery went well. I was thinking about your dh the other day too, how has he been, I remember her was having many leg pains and such last year.

I actually got out and walked about a mile and half today! The weather is about 40-45 but super duper sunny! I think it would be pretty cool if I could get a mile to two miles in 3 times a week for the rest of this pregnancy, makes my moods so much better to exercise! Good luck ladies!!!

Hey all-

No running for me, but lots has happened...

My friend's dad died, it was expected, but still an adjustment he has to make.

My friend in the hospital for cancer surgery is in a ventilator. I REALLY want him to be ok...

My husband got the lead role in "Company". Without auditioning (they have seen him before and know his range). He's going to be great, but I'm a little salty. Oh, and the performances are over when we were going away for our anniversary. Yeah, he forgot to check about that before accepting.

I'm starting to panic about my game- 5 weeks to go and I don't feel entirely plotted yet. The problem with trying to not railroad the players is that I have to leave the "end" very open. Oy!

Anyhow, sorry to whine, I had a bad night last night- forgot to eat dinner and everythign. I think that I'm going to start exercising while he's at reh, get something out of him being away three times a week (as the lead he is never off stage and has to be at all rehs). If I plan for that I should be able to start up again- I haven't done more than mall walk since the super bowl. Too many good video games and stuff to write...

Congrats to everyone's movement! 12 weeks will seem like forever, but you get even less sleep once they're out! Have a good weekend!

Happy Friday Everyone!

I'm sitting at 28 weeks, right now and really wish I was saying 38 weeks! I have been so uncomfortable, especially at night, I don't know if I can make it another 12 weeks!

Everyone is doing so awesome, way to go! I can't wait to be running again, I really do miss it! I hope to run my first 5k by the end of July and then do my 1/2 marathon in October again. I'm not sure how to train with 3 small babies, but I hope to make it work if I go super early. Anyone ever hear of them making a 3 person jogging stroller? That's what I am needing but thinking that would be a hard find.

Anyone have anything exciting planned for the weekend. I'm going to a night at the races tonight, not sure how one is, but I'll let you all know.

Have a great day everyone!

gothicdragon - glad your feeling better. i am trying to think positive about running again. my doc told me no more running. i use to run a lot of half marathons. so i am hoping i can run a 5k again.

amorrison - the sweating thing at lunch is my issue too. my friend and i walked about a 16.5 min mile so i was pretty happy with that with how long i have not done exercise.

i didn't walk today. i did all my back exercises tonight. i am hoping to walk tomorrow. it seems to be loosing up my back.

I didn't do much of anything yesterday, just a few wall push ups. I was too sore to do much else! Today is also looking slim on the exercise department. I always go to lunch with my brother on Thursdays, so no gym or lake today. But depending on what happens this evening, maybe I'll get some treadmill time in.

TLC-Good job getting in the walks on lunch! I know you aren't supposed to run, but can you kind of speed walk? I know when I go on lunch and don't want to get all sweaty, I just walk at a fast pace instead.

Gothicdragonfly-Glad you are feeling better from being sick. Good luck on the gym!

Amorrison- Way to go on the run, i have asthma and quit smoking when i found out i was pregnant, so I'm working on building up my lung capacity so maybe one of these days I'll be able to run..

TLC7068- good job with the 2 mile walk. The more you practice the better you get, who knows one of these days maybe you'll be able to run a 5k or something. emoticon

I'm finally just starting to return to the gym after being sick for 2 weeks, it feels pretty good to be able to work out again. Now just gotta build my energy level back up.

Happy Hump Day! lol I am SORE today. I ran/walked 4 miles yesterday at the lake, and my oh my. There is Such a huge difference between treadmill running, and outdoor running. My body is not used to it! I am feeling pretty darn tired today too, a nap might be in my future!

MJA-Glad to hear that the surgery went well and Carly is resting peacefully. Happy anniversary to you and your DH!

Moxy-Also glad to hear that your friend's surgery went well. Hopefully the cancer is all gone now, and he can move onto a new chapter in his life! Too bad that you are all getting sick and can't visit though :(

Jeni-So sorry that little Jacob is so sick! When Bella was really little, she used to spit up a LOT, and there were more than one occasion that I had to pass her off to her Daddy and head straight for the shower after getting it all in my hair. Not quite the same as actual vomit, but I get where you are coming from on that one! Hope he feels better soon!

Gothicdragonfly-Maybe you can just start slow with getting back into exercise...Do 5 minutes here and there, which should help you get the motivation and energy back. Good luck!

Moxy- I'm so glad that your friend made it through well. I hope his recovery goes well also. I'm sorry y'all feel sick, my husband, son, and i just go over being sick.Get better soon! emoticon

So i weighed myself today, and i gained half a pound. emoticon I was sick the last 2 weeks of February so i was unable to do any exercise. Now starting Monday I've been trying to bounce back into routine. I'm having trouble getting my energy level up to par after being sick.I'm usually a ball of energy and extremely motivated. I'm motivated wanting to do it, and know i have to, but just can't seem to find the ambition.

Jeni- I totally understand. a couple of weeks ago Cordelia did the same thing to her daddy- it made her feel better (as did a bath) but daddy was a little put out ::grin::.

Nerd- Total wife swap- does your hubby play video games and RP? They seem to be the habits of choice in our neck of the woods! ::grin::

MJ- So glad that Carly's surgery went well!! I hope it makes for better times in the future!

Carl is out of surgery- still in ICU but it's a start. They are confident that they got everything ::cross fingers:: but had to take some large intestine as well. Sadly, my father in law got the flu over the weekend and we are all starting to feel a little sickly so we will NOT be visiting him until we are all perfectly healthy. I'm not risking him at all. So it means that he will be spending his 50th today without us yammering at him or without little Miss Cordy, but we'll see him soon. Thanks for the good wishes.

Have fun!

Hi ladies! Just stopping by really quick to say THANK YOU Gabby for getting this roll call started! I am a little behind this week because my mind has been on Carly's ear tube surgery but she had it this morning and everything went awesome! She is safely tucked into bed, snoring away! So glad that is behind us.

I will catch up more tomorrow but I have to say that the image of Jeni covered in barf holding Jacob with a big huge smile on his face made me LOL! Sorry Jeni!!

I'll check in with you all tomorrow...which just happens to be me & hubby's 6th anniversary!

Hi ladies :)

Jacob has been sick for the past two weeks. I don't understand how he made it through his first year without a single fever, and then 3 days after he turns one he gets croup. We had to cancel his hypospadias surgery, and I'm still waiting for him to get well so I can reschedule.

Now he coughs and gags :( Last night he barfed all over me. I've lived 34 years and never before has anyone puked in my hair until last night. It soaked through three layers of clothes! Afterward he was all smiles, and I was fighting back the urge to vomit myself...

I'm sorry, probably TMI, but I hope you moms understand!

Hi Ladies! It's good to see some new faces on here :) I just got back from my first outdoor walk/run of the year! It's about 35 degrees and sunny here, so I figured it was a good day for a visit to my trails at the lake. I went about 4 miles total, not bad for my lunchbreak!

Moxy, I hope all is well with your friend...Any news? You'll have to take your daughter to visit him when he's recovering, that ought to cheer him up!

Gabby, I hope you hear from that school soon! What's their holdup, I wonder?

TLC-How's using the bike going? I am so glad you got the go ahead to exercise more again!

Good Morning Everyone!

How exciting to have some new faces join in! This is pretty much the only place I come to talk daily.

Last night we went to the car show, I can't believe how much my 21 month old son absolutely loved it! Dh thought the american cars were the nicest, and I agree too. I couldn't believe how cool the new taurus is, we drive a 2004 and want to trade, think that would work...lol

Its been a crazy past few days, but I'm enjoying the thought of spring! Not too much longer, its making it through March, the longest month in my own opinion.

All those recipes sound delish, I love spaghetti squash, I can eat it plain too.

Have a great day! Our you ladies joining in on the March minute madness challenge?

I'm not saying that my husband isn't awesome, cause he is, but if you ever want to trade for say a weekend or something...::grin::

Sounds great! Sometimes chocolate is simply necessary!

Still nothing on my friend- hoping to get word on how the surgery went soon...

Oh no, she loves to share recipes- what I know at the moment is that it's a whole spaghetti squash, maybe two chicken breasts? 1/3 jar of alfredo and then she has these crazy peppers with a name that starts with an "a". You may not need them, but they really make a fabuolus flavor...sadly, we do a lot of "what do we put in now?" in the kitchen. My husband tends to leave the food alone (except when he's eating it!) so we pull together some very odd menus sometimes.

Welcome Gothic and Nerdy! I am a huge geek myself!

Our good friend Carl went in for cancer surgery today- his 50th birthday is Weds. My daughter (21 months) is a huge fan of his- they have a special bond created the last time he had surgery, a few months after she was born. I'm very nervous for him and it has definitely effected my day. ::crosses fingers:: should find out how things went soon...

I also found a GREAT food- speghetti squash with alfredo and chicken and I can add veggies too. Hardly any calories!! And so yummy!

Good luck everyone- have fun!
