We also love the teething tablets. They also make a cold tablet that you can give them if they're over 1 yr old, and they work great. (Ok, I cheated and gave them when Jacob wass 11.5 months).
The Move 2 Lose workout kicked my butt! The trainer used to teach PT in the military. It's a group interval training workout. I wasn't sure I would be able to carry Jacob back to the car from the drop off child care afterwards. I barely made it!
Teething is no fun at all, I have to go through it again once this baby is born. My son pretty much got all his teeth after her turned one, where my daughter was teething from 4 months to about 2 1/2 yrs old. Teething tablets, I swear by them, they work wonders! Homeopathic but really good, it was the difference between getting sleep at night and not.
What's for dinner everyone?
I looked up a spark recipe and made the lemon chicken! It turned out awesome. I added more lemon juice and seasoned the chicken with pepper and Montreal chicken seasoning. I'm serving it with rice! I'm pretty proud because cooking is not my strength.
I feel like I'm really starting to get the hang of being home. I am trying to get the babies on a good schedule, so far today they took a 2 hr nap! Too bad I worked on a puzzle for most of the time.
Have a great evening everyone. I'm thinking I might try to get a mile or so in on the treadmill.
Hi ladies :) Still freezing here in SW Ohio. The snow is blowing and drifting now, and the road crews here are clueless. Might as well wait for it to melt! Thankfully, my brother in law came over this afternoon and plowed my driveway so I can get out.
Have to leave soon for Move 2 Lose. I think I'm just getting weighed, measured, and fitness tested tonight. Since this isn't my usual day I'll be there with a bunch of strangers, so wish me luck.
Jacob is crabby 2day. He's about to get his second molar...such a big little guy!
Hi ladies, I'm back to sparking after a long weekend "break". I had a wonderful time being home with my Bella, but unfortunately the real world calls. No snow here for now...we got a little bit over the weekend, but nothing significant. I just got back from swimming over my lunch break at the gym...wasn't as tiring as last time. I'm not sure if that means I wasn't working hard enough or if I am getting in better shape? I'm gonna go with better shape! lol
Gabby-I'm glad your interview went well! Definitely sounds like you might be better off just waiting for something else now though because of the hours and location. I bet you are loving the time home with the kids though!
Moxy-Sounds like you are enjoying being snowed in! lol Stay warm and take care!
MJA-I think you are the only one around here without snow! lol How is your ankle from your fall? I hope it's feeling better!

I hope Brady is feeling better a double ear infection is no fun at all. I wish they made at home tools for us to see, because I have always felt on the fence about whether or not to go in for an ear infection, its always when you hesitate and think they'll be fine, and bam double ear infection.
Yesterday I had a interview for a long term sub position at another charter school, it went well, but I'm not sure if they offer me the position if I'll take it. The location is in the ghetto, like surveillance cameras and security guards and everything. Kinda scary, the drive will be long and in rush hour and the school hours are very long, a typical teacher in a school district works 7- 7.5 hrs a day, so a 9-4 day is common or 7-2:30, kinda nice, this is 8-4:30, very long for teaching. We are probably saving money at this point. I don't' have to fill up my tank which saves 100/month, I haven't had to pay daycare 600-800/ month, that's practically one paycheck right there. Plus I get to spend 100% with the babies, I love it.
We had this big predicted forecast for sooo much snow and nothing really happened. Its snowing pretty steadily right now, but the 12-20 inches, never came!
We decided after so much looking and so forth that we are going to just stay where we are living for the time being. Its hard to keep up with me on this I know, I think we've changed our minds 5 times. But we have the option to break our lease at a later point so maybe we'll be in a better situation in a few months and after this baby comes!
