Jen, I haven't seen the Parents magazine but I will definitely look for it next time I'm at the store. Sorry to hear about your blood sugar. I don't know a lot about that stuff but I'm always in favor of a high protein diet as long as you're still having fruits & veggie & fiber too! I make a breakfast sandwich every morning with an egg, a sandwich thin and a slice of cheese. It's really yummy and full of protein!
