Hey Jen! So good to have you back! Don't feel like a hypocrite, we all know how hard it is to stay on track when you're a mom! That's what this team is all about. All that matters is that you're back and doing the best that you can!
Ashley, right now I eat the same things every day but I'm going to start mixing it up a little. I eat 3 meals and 3 snacks throughout the day. For snacks I eat:
1) Fiber One w/ milk,
2) Yoplait Yogurt & cottage cheese (Boston Cream Pie is my FAVORITE!)
3) String cheese & an apple

If I get hungry in between, I'll have a piece of fruit. I try to do a protein and a carb for a snack. I've also been known to bring in little cans of veggies for snacks. My co-workers think I'm weird. LOL!

Oh, and I'm breastfeeding too but my sweet baby girl is 17 months so she is eating baby food too. I figured it was safe to drop my calorie range down a little bit.

Long time no see, but I'm back :) Feeling kind of like a hypocrite here because my baby turns one next month, but what the heck...

I'm doing the SP bootcamp, and got my workouts in during Jacob's afternoon nap. Going to have to wake up early tomorrow to do it though, because I work 3-11.

MJA716- Way to go on staying in your calorie range! I'm aiming for a bit higher (I'm breastfeeding, so I get to add 500 :)) but I still have a hard time staying in it. What sort of healthy snacks do you eat? I could really use some ideas!

Hi Ashley! You snuck in your comment while I was typing mine! Good job tracking your food! That's a great way to see what and how much you're eating and it tends to be a BIG eye opener!

I LOVE Dance, Dance Revolution! So much fun! I would play it more but when I get it out my kids want to play and it's SO hard to play with them because they can't stay off the mat while you're trying to get the game started! Argh!! LOL!

I forgot to mention that I actually did really good on food yesterday! No junk food and stuck with what I had planned to eat for the day. I'm aiming for 1500-1800 calories a day and yesterday I had 1,687 yesterday! Yay! Go me!!

Hello ladies! I do so enjoy chatting and catching up with you everyday! Keeps me motivated!

MOXY, it's hard to work out in the afternoon! It's SO easy to get distracted and start working on something else. Believe me...walk past the computer, forget about the housework and get your workout done before you start doing anything else!!!

Gabby, I had the WORST insomnia when I was pg. I was SO tired and I would just lay there and stare at the ceiling. So frustrating! I hope you get over yours soon! Oh, and yes, Bejeweled (and Farmville and all those other silly Facebook games!) are BIG time sucks!! I can't even get started on those or I'd get absolutely NOTHING done! LOL!

Good Morning! I still haven't managed to get in a workout...BUT, I did track my food yesterday, and am doing the same today. I did have some junk, but not near as much as I used to on a daily basis.

I also weighed in on Monday for the first time in a while...I was at 166.2, which is I think a 6 lb gain in the past few weeks :( Although, I can't say that I expected anything else the way I was eating and being lazy.

I don't think I'll be getting in a workout today, unless I fire up Dance Dance Revolution tonight after Bella goes to bed. But tomorrow I'm hitting the gym at lunch!

We're looking to get some snow tomorrow (3-5 or 7-10 inches, depending which news channel you watch) which will go great on the feet of snow we already have on the ground. Yuck!

P.S.S-Where do you live Gabby? We seem to have similar weather...I'm in Nebraska.

Happy Tuesday Everyone!!! I didn't get those 3 miles in, not even one, but today I will. My sleep schedule is so messed up, I can't fall asleep before 12! Doesn't work when you have to be up by 6am, and I get up at 5 naturally lately! Coffee has been my crutch, but I'm feeling so tired today. We didn't get a snow day,but now of course the snow is coming down like crazy, my car is covered again...

BTW!!! From facebook there is bejeweled, what a time suck, what is worse I downloaded the app for my iphone, big mistake...

I am trying to get into a habit of coming home right after school and working out, once on the EA Fitness and once on the wii fit free step. I can watch TV or my husband can play video games while I'm doing it, so it's entertaining. Hoping to do this most days...

Good morning mommies!!

It's Tuesday so I don't get to workout in the morning. Hubby works an early, early shift so I am alone w/ the kids. He will pick up the kids and I will do my best to get a workout in after work. I look forward to the days when I have a little bit more flexibility with my workout schedule but for now I will make it fit where I can.

How about you? Do you find it challenging to fit exercise into your busy mommy schedule?
