Thank you for you support! yes this cold weather makes me crave things that are nice and hommy and cheese :) I have been wanting mac and cheese everyday! tried to make a lighter version and it just does not taste like i wanted it... At least i make it up with exercise.

Hope you get on track soon! I know you can do it!!!!

with inlaws about to leave in 15 days.. lot of dinner invitations...
So I am going to try again from Dec 10th...

So do you still have your inlaws with you? Hope things are going well and you are staying on your track! I ate way to much this past weekend... and next week is the turkey day.. Oh boy, Im gonna try not to over eat. But in so many ways i know I probably will!!!! Not good

DVDs are good! I have a few yoga and pilates dvds. Its great to have them because they are available to you when ever you feel like doing a little work out and not like int he gym (you have to arrange to their schedule)

Im debating about preregistering for the new sparkpeople book!! I guess it would not hurt to have a book :) plus it is not that expensive, but still debating with myself about it :)

Yeah.. I am gonna try it.. But i dont know of any classes here.. so I will buy a DVD instead....
Nyways my inlaws are also leaving in Dec.. I can do my exercise in living room now...
I am also buying Yoga and Pilates DVD.. they are available for 1-2$ in a dollar shop

Rest.. lets be good till thanksgiving

That is a great idea! To keep a weekend for a little cheating, especially with all the holidays that are coming along!!!! Im gonna try to be good till Thanksgiving and have a little more than usual that dinner :)
Today is another kickboxing class, should be fun. You should try it sometimes if you get a chance just any cardio kickboxing.
Well lets try to keep with in our calories this week! I hope that the whole week i stay with in my limits!!! :)

Bike ride is so cool.. and also its gr8 tht u r njoyin kick boxing

i totally understand about the eating in winter part.. i also didnt do v well on weekend.. but i guess i m goin to keep 1 weekend in a month for cheating.. tht way i can eat what i want and not feel guilty about it

We did a family bike ride this morning it was great! My son enjoyed and so did my husband and I! Im also going to a kickboxing class. I felt great after the class on th so i think i find the exercise i like to do.... Im sure you are busy with your in-laws departing soon. Hope you are doing well and keeping up with your goals :)

Im doing well. Do not have any desire to exercise but I joined a new group locally to do some kickboxing. And yesterday went to my first class! I loved it! Trying my best not to go over the limit of my calories so far been doing well. But with the cold coming over i so want comfort food : mac and cheese, pot pie ans so forth... trying my best to stay on the line!

I am so sorry for not have written earlier.. I was busy with certain things..
My inlaws leave for india on dec 9th.. so we r bz shoppin for them etc
I m tryin to squeeze in as much exercise as I can...
I want to be in 130s by end of december.. hope so everything goes accordingly

I did not get to exercise yesterday and I though the weather is going to be ok today and it is raining again! I wanted to go for a jog....Now i have to do some yoga!
On the other side I did very good with portion control and food yesterday stayed in all of the ranges :)

I did manage to walk for 30 mins yest
my inlaws will be leavin dec 9th hopefully.. i will start some yoga and dvd exercises then
today is my last swimmin class
i havent put on any weight but havent lost anythin for a month
so m watchin wat i eat from now on

We went to Hawaii! So the vacation was great :) ate lots of fish and did a lot of swimming so i think bcz of that i did not gain weight. But as soon as i got back home because of the time change and getting used to our regular routine i have put on lb! did some Pilate yesterday and wanted to go for jog but it pouring outside like crazy! So maybe some more dvd exercise time for me :)
Glad to hear that the festivity went well. There are always small barriers but we can manage and overcome them :)

hello! Sorry have been MIA but im back now. We went on vacation and our computer broke on the way there so no access to internet. It was a great vacation and i almost did not gain any weight!

Sorry dint reply earlier
I had a doc apt yesterday for my thyroid and then i stayed at my frd's house in jersey city and came back v late yest...
dint do ny exercise yest... but got a 40 min walk day before
About cleanin all major chunk is done .. now only bits and pieces.. nd thts really borin nd unmotivatin to do

I did 30 min of Yoga today but was very light on myself. was pretty tired walking around with my son and just playing with him. Got to do some cleaning. Tomorrow I have a nanny coming over to stay with him so I get some time to myself :)

Did you get your cleaning done?

Well I hope you are done with all of your cleaning! i did my morning 20 min jog and some jumping jacks. My legs are feeling it.

I ate good yesterday was even able to get ice-cream in and did not go over my calories. Me and my son shared a chery chunk vanila ice-cream :) MMMM delicious!

Cleaning is lots of exercises as well so do not be hard on yourself! I'm sure you are burning out lot of calories and that surely regulates with eating a bit too much :)

I did my 20 min yoga and feel great. Need to have a snack im hungry :)

i have not been eatin well since weekend by which i mean i m overeating nd not good stuff.. Also no exercise since Thursday.. I m feelin too guilty

Diwali (Festival of lights) is on 17th nd I am into major cleanin spree for that since Sunday.. I am already tired and still have half of kitchen and entire bedroom and bathroom to be done by end of this week.. Then next weeek will be cooking all festivities

Due to all this exercise is takin a back seat.. But i do have a swim clas and i m hopin to do some progress there

So lets do 15 Sqauts each bathroom trip today and let each other know how we did

Hello :) I did my jog yesterday and today is yoga day! Little one is asleep and it is mommy's time to do her stuff.
I ate not so good yesterday way under what im supposed to so i was starving this morning! So i ate a very healthy breakfast and will do lighter at lunch.

i will try some bathroom challenges. I like the squats idea. I usually always have lots of water/tea. Love tea!

Thts really good that u pushed urself to do it...
I cannot run at all.. I get all dizzy.. But i love to walk.. My Goal is to walk 4 miles per day.. rt now I am at 2.5 miles :(

I also didnt do anythin yesterday.. But today I will definitely go for the walk nd try to do some strength training too

How about we do some bathroom challenges... Like today we do 15 squats everytime we use bathroom and drink atleast 8 cups of water?

So i got my run out of the way this morning. Did 30 minutes, i was so struggling towards the end but I feel so much better that i made myself do it!

yesterday i did not do anything. Went to a friends house for a Japanese cooking class and just relaxed! But still managed to be in my calorie range :)

I did not get a chase to do yoga this morning. I was doing so much stuff around the house: dinner, invitations, cleaning and so forth. Tow hours just flew by and my son woke up. I will do yoga later in the evening when my hubby gets home so he can watch over the baby and I can have some alone time for at least 30 minutes :)

Of course you will be able to swim!!!! Do not give up! I did not want to go for a jog this morning i just wanted to stay in bed. But i made myself get up and put my son in the stroller and run slowly but we did it for 25 minutes and played in the park! You can do this :)

Glad to hear you had fun! Yes I heard about the festival of the Lights, pretty cool.

I went over my calories today but only by 150 cal! Not so bad, I did do 35 min of yoga today and played with my son in the park for an hour +! So hopefully i burned enough calories to make up for eating too much!

Yes.. I had nice fun.. If possible i will send u a snap...
We did cook lot of sweet stuff made of jaggery.. but i limited the portion :) so I am happy
Now we have another festival coming up. its called festival of Lights.. it starts on 17th and ends on 19h of October... For this festival .. we clean the house entirely.. so I will be washing everythin.. like all bedsheets etc then all utensils/ containers..
And then we cook some special snacks (5/6 items) like ppl do here for christmas

Lot of work ahead... My LO is also sleeping.. so will get a bath now.. nd today is Swim class day

I have been running around like a chicken myself! too much to do. Need to do some yoga today and already went to the playground. My little one is sleeping so i can do some errands around the house!

Sorry cudnt reply earlier. had a v bz weekend..
past 10 days.. including today's were our one of many festivals.. so went to temple on sat.. some baby shoppin.. thn baby shower.. also managed to go swimmin

So took sunday a bit lightely.. still did some more shoppin.. household items

today is the end of festival and hence a big day.. so will be cooking grand dinner in eve.. but will not eat much.. hopefully

My son decided to take a 3 hr nap so I did a 20 min yoga work out, and sacrificed cleaning and read!
Im reading "how to raise an emotionally independent child" Very good book. Really recommend it.

We went for a walk this morning, but because it rained last night the play ground was kind of wet... yuk so we walked around the park and then came home.

he is asleep now and I donot feel like doing anything! I have some cleaning, need to do at least 20 min yoga and i have a really good book to read!!!! So many things to do not enough time!!!!!!!

I used to live in Jersey city in 2006.. shifted to Avenel in June 07.
I have two parties consecutive saturdays....
This sat is a baby shower and its at home.. so i think I will eat well there....I am not v comfortable among a group of unkonown people and in this particular party I dont know most of the guests.. so i will be shy and eat v less .. i think

Oct 3rd is a bday party... but its in indian restauraunt.. so I will eat only chicken.. tht too.. just kebabs.. so less of oil...i hope so:)

but.. oct 3 is a long way.. nd if i lose even 2 lbs by then.. i can reward myself:)

I did my 20 min jog this morning and then we went to the playground. Could have done more jogging but little guy just did not want to stay in the stroller.

I live in Jersey City. Love it here. So close to the city and at the same time we got our little community going on :)

Im trying to stay on track at least till the end of the month and then I will reward myself. We are going to b-day party on october 4 and it is at a pizza joint in Hoboken. So im being good till then and I can indulge some pizza after :) lol

Cool i did my yoga for today and at 2pm we are going to the playground to run around some more. My son's name is Orion.

All kids are stubborn about food. it take on average about 18 times for kids to like a food. That is how long it too my son.

Enjoy your swim this afternoon. By the way I live in NJ. What about you?

i had some microwave popcorn :(

i made some eggplant vegetable today for lunch with indian bread made from whole wheat

I am tryin to include healthy foods for my son.... but he is v stubborn when it comes to new food:)

I used organic rice cereal but we are pass that stage now. When we travel we usually have a cooler so we put some of the food for him.

I want to lose that one lb by the end of sept. Have not gotten on the scale today im just gonna wait till the end of the month. But I know i did not lose anything so far.

We went to the play ground for 1.5 hours and now im gonna do some yoga (20-30 min) but before anything a snack (apple) because my stomach is growling :)

hey.. so how much cleanin were u able to do:)

Sounds great to me! So forget about cleaning today! My son decided to wreck the whole house... now he is asleep and i can start some quick cleaning :)
My son is 10 months 3 weeks and I feed him pretty much everything now. I never gave him a jar in his life (except maybe 2 of apple sauce on the go) but I make all of his food daily. I use organic foods to make his food. If anything feeding my son encourages me to make healthier food decisions!

Like tonight i had a salad with baked scallops. Really good
