It will come off - You really aren't supposed to be really working at losing weight until 6 weeks after. Personal question: are you breast feeding? I did with my last pregnancy and I swear I didn't lose as much until I stopped. Your hormones are still wonky, most likely.
My youngest is 19 months - I have NO excuses! :) I really am giving this my all to lose the last 10-15...the hardest.
So what is this race? Do you just add up the miles? That sounds fun. Just make sure you have been taking it easy right after childbirth.
I love running but I am doing the P90X program. Basically, I work out every day. sounds extreme, huh?! Well, it rotates areas so it is not as bad as it mighht seem. Plus, they have this recovery drink that almost completely eliminates soreness - beautiful stuff. I highly recommend it!
It is going to be hard...and that is OK.
