I was doing really well on my eating awhile ago, and that was when I lost most of my weight. But I got sick for a few weeks and I've had a hard time getting back on track. I really do love healthier food. It's just that when I crave junk food it's usually right there to eat so it's hard to resist.
What are some of the meals that you make? I am a good cook, but everything that I've been taught to cook is not that good for you, lol. So some new ideas would be great.
I really wish that my husband would lose some weight, because I worry that something will happen to him and that would just kill me. I just hope and pray that he realizes it before it's too late.

Unfortunately, I am the only one who is eating healthy...I prepare a separate dinner for my husband and daughter and I do miss the foods that I make!! But I must say that it has gotten easier for me to say no and I dont crave the foods anymore.....I cant wait to get to a point where I am happy with my weight and am able to have a nibble here and there......still a way for me to go!! hehhehe - I have to agree as well! My husband needs to lose weight (he snores and the dr said if he loses some weight it may help him) but he just doesnt have the discipline to do it......

At least you got the 2 pounds. Right now I would settle for 1 pound, lol. It's funny how you can't lose as much if you're not eating enough. It's hard to find a balance.
Does the whole family eat healthy or is it just you? I'm the only one besides my 4 year old daughter. She would rather eat what I have than what I make for everyone else. My husband needs to lose weight, but he won't eat healthier. It's hard for me to stay on the right track when I see him eating all the junk, lol.

well, i thought i would have another 4 pound weight loss week but it was only 2 pounds :( Considering that I am on a very strict diet of no carbs, no dairy and absolutely no salt (and exercising 6 days a week)it should have been more but I think my downfall was that I was not even eating 1200 calories a day this past week and that stopped my weight loss :( But on to this week :) I hope that I can maintain as long as you when I get to my goal weight :)

I've been doing good on my exercise but I'm still not doing good on my eating. I have been so stressed and that just lowers my will power and self control. But at least I'm still maintaining. How are you doing?

Congrats on the weight loss! I'm still at 152. Maintaining is better than gaining though. I started the week out good on my diet, but haven't done so good the last couple of days. I have been getting my exercise in though. I feel like I'm playing catch up though. Because I haven't been able to exercise it's like starting all over again.

So how was weigh in today? I cannot believe that I was down 4 pounds this week!!!! I guess the exercise and diet did their thing :) I am sure that you are going to get to your goal weight by July 30th!!!

Thank you! I am excited to be smaller than I've been in about 4 years. I've gotten so off track though. I am promising myself that I get back on track starting tomorrow. I am so sick of not feeling good because I haven't been exercising and have been eating really badly. I would really like to get to my goal weight soon. It would be nice if I could lose it before my daughters first birthday on July 30th. When I do make my goal I'll be smaller than I've been in about 7 1/2 years, so that would be great. I'll add you to my yahoo im contacts and maybe we can chat sometime soon.

I used to weigh in either friday or monday, but here lately i just weigh every once in awhile to make sure i haven'nt gained anything. But it would be great to have a certain weigh in day to do together. I can do tuesday. I am so off track, and it would be nice to have someone to help with encouragement or a swift kick in the butt when I need it, lol. I actually got the heaviest I've ever been with my last daughter. I was about 203 when I had her, and lost 15 after having her. It was when all the swelling went down and I realized that my size 16's were a bit snug that I decided that I had to lose the weight. I was 183 then which was about 8 months ago. Now I'm down to 152 and a size 8-10. I have'nt been this size in years, so it feels great. I would like to lose about 10 or 12 more pounds though. Do you have IM or email? We could edchange info through sparkmail if you want. If you don't I understand. And congrats on your weight loss!

Hi Abigail!! I too am a stay at home mom of two wonderful children - my daughter is 22 months and my son is 5 months old :) OH GOSH!! I too had c-sections with both of them but after my son was born this past January I told myself that I would start working out exactly 6 weeks after the csection and that is what I did. I was 203 pounds when I gave birth to him and lost 15 of that - when I started exercising on March 10th I was 187 pounds and I am now about 166 pounds.....I have been working out so hard and watching my diet so strictly but it can be such a challenge when you have kids at home (as I am sure you know!)

Do you have a weekly weigh in day? I try to weigh myself every Tuesday..maybe we can use that day to track each others progess and give support! I know that snacking late at night has been such a problem for me (in May I did not lose any weight but I didnt gain either) but for some reason this past Monday I told myself that I simply cannot allow last night snacking affect my weight loss! I want to lose another 10 pounds by the end of this month - what do you think!?

Hi! I guess I'll start, lol. My name is Abigail and I'm a stay at home mom of three beautiful children, ages, 6,4, and 10 months, and have been married to my husband for 8 years next month. I've had a problem with my weight since I had my first child. It also didn't help that I've had to have all c-sections. It's been pretty hard for me to lose weight, but I finally decided to get serious about it after I had my last daughter. I've lost a total of 31 pounds in the last 8 months or so. The last month has really been a challenge. I haven't lost anything in the last 6 or 7 weeks, but I've maintained and that's great. But I'm trying to get back on track with it. I haven't been able to exercise much lately and I'm really feeling it, so I really need to get back to it. I feel so much better when I'm exercising regularly.
But I guess that's enough for now. Tell me a bit about you!
