How did everyone do? I didn't do so hot...only down 1.5 lbs. I'm blaming it on breastfeeding!!

Would you believe that I started this challenge and completely forgot about it!!!! Last week was very weird b/c I was off work with my little one for 2 days... so Wednesday felt like Monday andThursday and Friday evenings were also out of whack. I didn't spark at all last week.

But I promise that I'll be getting back on track tomorrow morning!

I agree. There we have it then! Here is our official challenge!

LOSE 5 LBS BY 5/5!
EAT AT LEAST 5 SERVINGS OF FRUITS/VEG A DAY! (Together, not 5 servings each!)

We can weigh in on Friday or Saturday and post our weight on this thread. And here's a tip I've learned from another challenge.... set up your weigh in and then go back and "edit" that post. This way you can easily see your progress - and we don't have 500 posts to go through. (I'll post mine to show you what I mean.)

Is anyone else participating aside from me and STACYR31?

Well Im not really sure what challenge to do... I do think we should try to keep it simple.

Maybe we could say lose 5 lbs by 5/5? or something like that? any suggestions. I'm just eager to get rid of this weight as anyone but I think small goals are the way to go since we all have such busy lives.

I think that this sounds like a fantastic idea and I would definitly be in! I've been trying to re-start my exercising for the last several months but something always pops up (sick kids, trying to take care of aging parents, etc.). My baby was born in August and I also have a 4 year old. I was sure I would have more of this weight off by now but it's refusing to budge so I need something to get me to kick it into gear!

Hi, everyone!

I was all excited to see the April Challenge, and then I realized that it was for April of last year. At that point my LO was only a month old and I was not ready to get started with much of anything. ? emoticon

Anyway, since then I'm down almost 25 lbs but I still have about 10 to go to get to pre-pregnancy weight... and then another 15 to get to goal. emoticon

I've been involved with other challenges, and as much as I'd love to work out every day for 2 hours at a time, it's just not realistic. I think this would be a great group to do a challenge with because we face similar challenges...
emoticon Finding time to work out
emoticon Balancing mommy-hood and career
emoticon Typical household chores with a little one running around
emoticon And, some of us aren't crazy enough that we had to add something more to our plates... like going back to school!
emoticon And not to forget the all important (and all-too-often neglected) spouse!

So, would anyone be interested?
