Yes I do work - 9 to 11 hour days. I do bring my lunch, probably 99% of the time. I primarily bring Lean Cuisine and Smart Ones for lunch (we have freezers and microwaves available). Breakfast consists of coffee (I know, bad breakfast option, but it works for me) and I keep snacks in my desk.

I used to keep Fiber One or other granola bars for snacks but learned that Chicory Root (the fiber they use) gives me a MASSIVE amounts of gas so I quit eating them...and I love them so!

Thank you! I know what you mean about getting ANYTHING done with the toddler around. I have a hard time even getting ready for work in the mornings! This too shall pass though - they'll be grown before you know it (my oldest daughter is turning 18 this month - ACK!) so try to enjoy it while it lasts.

Exercise? That word is totally unfamiliar to me! LOL
I havent got on the treadmill (which hubby bought me as a motivator) in 8 months! Where am i to find the time to get on it when theres a toddler about? Do it when she sleeps and wake her? I dont think so!!!

I am getting very close - I have only 11 more pounds to lose to my final goal. Only one more to reach my pre-pregnancy weight so I'm pretty happy with my progress! :) I could certainly use some motivation to exercise though, I've completely let it fall by the wayside.

Thanks! I go back to work on Monday so breastfeeding will be greatly reduced but I plan on sticking it out for a while :)

That's okay for your daughter, she got what she needed and now she needs to mature! :)

I lost 3 pounds in the month of April. Not too bad considering I didn't try terribly hard. Baby weight is coming off easier than expected since I'm breastfeeding.

Reached my goal to be out of the 130s by the beginning of May...I was so excited when I saw 128.8 at my weigh in at the gym tonight :)

Today was my last weigh i for this challenge. I lost 3 Pounds this week!!! emoticon I also lost over a 1/2 inch off my waist, and lost 1/4 of an inch off my hips this week!!!
My sw for this challenge was - 150.8
My goal was at least 145.8
My current weight is 146.8

Didn't quite make my goal, but I'm happy with the pounds and inches i have lost!!!

Harika, I agree with PP...I wonder if you might need to up your calories just a bit. Maybe try increasing the calories by 100 a day to start, see how that goes after a week. It might make quite the difference!

Hmm Harika, maybe you arent consuming enough calories! I knwo it sounds daft, but by exercising 6 times a week and eating around 1000 calories only, your body may be clinging on to fat stores for dear life because it is afraid of going into starvation.

2nd possibility is that perhaps you HAVE lost fat but gained muscle from all the workouts. Remember muscle weighs more then fat!! SO keep it up, and eat a wee bit more! Maybe increase lean protein and make sure there is dairy in your diet. Dont give up!!

So I have been exercising 6 days a week for almost a month now and have nothing to show for it. I don't get it. I am watching what I eat and only consume on average 1000-1100 calories per day. I have lost ZERO!! I feel like giving up because I have worked my butt off for nothing!

I plateaued again this week, but it was my own fault. I'm still at 149.8
I worked out OK, but I could've done more, and i didn't eat as well as i should. But its OK, got to learn from your mistakes! I'm gonna knuckle down from here!!!

Good luck on the 5K Danielle! My husband and I started running 5K's last year before I got pregnant...now I'm going to have to figure out how to get these nursing boobs to fit into a running schedule once I am able to run again.

Down 7.4lbs since 3/29...I dont weigh myself every day otherwise i just get discouraged...I usually weigh myself on mondays

Reached my goal of being out of the 140s by Easter and am hoping to be out of the 130s by May 1st!

I am running my 1st 5k this weekend & am super excited. When I started to try to lose my baby weight it hurt to run let alone thinking about running a 5k and now I can run over 3 miles no problem....same with spinning I could barely do a half hour spin class 2 months ago and hated doing standing hills now I have uped my spin classes to 3 a week for the month of May! Its my new fav thing!!!


Just wanted to wish every one good luck and you can set ur mind to anything you want to!!! Anything is possible if you give it 110%!!! Keeping my fingers crossed my hubby will be super surprised when he see's me the first time when he gets home from his deployment in August :)

Well, I'm down 1 pound this week, and a half inch off my waist and hips as well! emoticon Now I'm going to step up my game to try and melt off a bigger number next week! emoticon

PERIDOTPRINCESS - Don't get discouraged! You never know, those last 4 pounds for the challenge might still come off for the deadline. And even if they don't the weight that you do lose is better than nothing. Also, remember to watch your measurements as well, you can lose inches and not lose weight. You might be toning up, and that's why you lost only that 1 pound each week. Just keep working at it! emoticon

Harika - Don't be discouraged..
Maybe you need to change up your routine a little. Sometimes it takes a little while to find a regimen that works for your body.
Also, make sure you are drinking at least 8 8oz. glasses of water a day, it helps your body get rid of the bad stuff, and gets rid of water weight.
Hold your head u high and keep moving forward. emoticon

Count me in! I have been planning my meals and tracking my food on the Nutrition Tracker and doing really well! My starting weight on April 2nd was 170.0! I want to lose AT LEAST 5 lbs. by May 1st so I'll shoot for 10!

I am in on this one BIG TIME! So my due date is any time and I know after that I will be loosing maybe 10 -12 post birth but after that my goal is to loose an additional 5 for the rest of the month.

Hope I can do it!!! Great challenge!
