You guys are doing awesome!! I am not doing so hot on my fitness minutes this week! I am trying to get ready for my hubby to come home - he comes home in a week! So, I haven't really gotten on here to record my fitness minutes. I will go back though and try to add them in. I have been cleaning like a mad woman so I know I am at least burning SOME calories! I am really going to get on the ball today and get back on track! I have one more week to reach my other half of my goal.....wish me luck! :)

GM team yesterday was again a no exercise day... as it was rainin i cudnt step out and since inlaws also dint go out .. cudnt exercise with them around... but today is a sunnier day... they will go out for a walk in sometime and i will do my yoga and abs video.. and in eve will walk for 30 mins atleast... hows every1 else doin?

Good Morning Team!
I got in a 20 minute bike ride with my dog, which was 2 miles of dirt road. I love living in the country! My dog was wore out by the time we got home but I have to praise how well he does running next to me. We got him about a year ago and he was a shelter dog, not a puppy. We have trained him really well on the leash and the bike is the best exercise for him. He stayed right with me even when a dog approached us! It was great!

Hey Ladies,
I am totally jealous Jess! I will get there I swear! We went camping this weekend and taking a 3 month old 10,000 ft above sea level wasn't the best idea. He got altitude sickness, and I didn't even think about it! :-( Plus my 23 month old got attacked be skeeters and had a fever all day yesterday! I did get in a 20 minute hike yesterday. Tomorrow I am going to do 20 minutes of turbo Jam and hopefully 20 minutes of yoga!

Hi ladies!! Well, yesterday I spent all day walking around the mall with some friends! It was seriously 4 1/2 hours of walking around the mall, and to be honest most of it was not the browsing walking that you usually do in the mall...it was omg there's a sale lets hurry up and go there type walking! So, I am exhausted today! And I was doing really good in my calories and stuff till we all went to McDonalds for supper! :( But surprisingly it didn't push me over on calories for yesterday but it did push me over on fat! :( Thank God we ate Olive Garden and I had salad and soup!!! HA! BUT!!! I do have some good news and I am super excited....I went to buy new jeans since mine didn't fit, and I dropped down a whole size!! I was wearing size 32 waist (Which is a 10) and am now in a 30 waist (Which is an 8)!!!!! I am super excited about it because I am finally below the double digits of pant sizes!! (Unless I try to shop in juniors sizes, HA!) I just wanted to share my good news with the hope that it will encourage you ladies to get more of those fitness minutes!! YAY!!!

Hi All Nice to meet u girls, u really motivate me.. I have not exercised for past 5 days... nd i dont even have a good excuse for that.. this is real frustrating... also, I am out of project and my visa will be in trouble if I dont get a project soon.. its really keeping me down.. to top all that my inlaws are visiting me nd will be here till November atleast or max dec... With them here I am just not able to work out a schedule in which I can exercise properly.. Sorry for all the cribbing... Feels better

You ladies can do it!! :) My mom is a big woman too, and I saw a picture of myslef last summer at a family reunion and it really hit me why everyone was saying "you look just like your mother." I was almost 200 lbs and I knew that I needed to really get myself together or I was really going to look like her. I didn't want that. It wasn't healthy for me, in more ways than one. So, I found sparkpeople and lost almost 40 pounds within the first 3 months of doing it. You know, I just cut back on what I was eating first. I didn't want to make a radical change but I knew that I needed to watch my portion control. So, that's how I did it, but then I hit a plateu and I need to get off of it. I am still trying to get back to my pre-preggo weight, I only have 10 lbs to go!! :) I ultimately want to be down 25 more pounds! :P I understand what you mean about 300 calorie cookies vs. 300 calorie veggies! :P I am getting better though

Its nice to get to know all of you. I had a great deal of motivation after my first born, and I exercised for a lot of my last pregnancy. I just have been struggling to get back to it. I am making a personal goal of 5 days in a row work outs! So far I have two! Plus I am trying to eat better because I am still nursing and I know that he needs nutrients, but for some reason eating 300 calories of cookies sounds better then 300 calories of fruit and veggies. I am trying to do alot better though!

Hello everyone~! Sorry it has taken me so long to check in with the group--I've been so bad about visiting Spark these past few months--MUST get better!!
My name is Angela and I have a 3 year old son and a 10 month old daughter. I've struggled with weight my entire life, but was a personal high of 220 after having my daughter. My mom is well over 350 lbs and I don't want that for myself, so I decided it was time to seriously make a change. Since Summer was born in September, I've started running and have become a fitness nut. I've done 2 5Ks this year and a sprint distance triathlon. Planning on doing my 2nd triathlon in August and hoping to shave a full 10 minutes off my time.
I've sort of plateaued in my weight loss, due mostly to the fact that I haven't been eating as well as I should. I've been MUCH better so far this month, and am hoping to see the results! :-) Looking forward to getting to know you all!

Hi ladies, it's nice to meet you both! I know you can reach those goals!! I am sitting at 153 right now. I would love to be 130 before I go home to visit for Christmas! :) I have a short term goal to make it to 140 before my hubby comes home in 2 weeks, but I am not sure how feasible that one is since it's only 2 weeks away. I originally had that goal about a month ago, but with moving it kinda wrecked my progress....so back to square one!
Oh for my fitness minutes today I walked around the mall for about 30 minutes. I cleaned, i mean REALLY cleaned my house for about 45 minutes, and then I just finished the 10 minute cardio kick boxing video! :)

I have a 3 year old and a 6 month old. I've just recently pasted by pre-prego weight from the 6 month old but I still have that belly. I've been trying to make it to the gym at least 5 times a week. My goal is to make it to 140 by Thanksgiving. I'm hanging out around 175 now.

Hey Girls! I am new to the team, and have a 23 month old son and a 3 month old son. I am ready to lose the weight I put on after my 3 month old. I was 280lbs after my first and when I got pregnant I was down to 193. I would really like to get to 140lb by the end of the year but we will see. I am back to 208 and VERY discouraged! But I am ready for this challenge!
I worked out for 20 minutes today!! I love Turbo Jam

It's nice to meet you!! :) Um as far as the fitness minutes, i'm not 100% sure how to do it, but I think you can do it when you edit your sparkpage?? There should be a box to check to show your fitness tracker on your page! I hope this helps!

Hi Team My name is Prajakta and am a mother of 4 month old son. I am trying to lose the baby weight but more importantly also get my body into shape ( especially baby pouch) I have not been able to exercise that religiously this month as my inlaws are here with me and I am trying to get a schedule in place. But I am not giving up and trying to exercise daily. I have a question: How do I know my fitness minutes can be seen by other members (for tracking purpose) Rest, I agree with Jessica, we all need to be there for each other and stay motivated...
