Thanks for being my july buddy. Hope I was helpful toget you a little motivated. My vacation went well I think I even lost a pound. I didnt eat the best but between the steps to the lake swimming and the raft rides that were more work then a ride I thik it more then ballenced out good luck with your weight loss goals

I got in an hour yesterday, but didn't today. I had an appointment and some errands and cleaning to do, so it's been a full day. And it's my baby girl's first birthday today! We're not having a party until saturday, but I got her a little cake for today. She's my 3rd and last and she's growing too fast.
I wish I wanted to exercise when I get upset. I usually eat, lol. But once I really get into and exercise routine for a few weeks I get to where I want to, but until them it's hard to get myself motivated to do it.

The one thing about being upset is I really don't eat and today I did extra workouts just to work through the emotions so I did the elliptical for almost 30min which when I do go on is usually 15-20 and I feel better for it plus I did the bathroom breaks quite a few time every time I got my self worked up again. were you able to get anything in today? emoticon

My water intake is usually pretty good because I usually do prefer water, but every once in awhile I don't get enough. I do crave diet coke every once in awhile and my husband drinks tea so I drink it a bit.
Well I hope that you do get to lose a bit on vacation. I ended up gaining a pound on ours and was so bloated from eating to much and not getting my workouts in.

I am on my feet a lot when I went back to work from my maternity leave I wore the pedometer and I walked 5.22 miles in one shift. No wonder I'm so tired when I'm off. My water intake is usually pretty good prefer water over most drinks but for dinner or going out to eat I feel like I need to drink soda or something more substantial. I'm going to try to get some work outs in to day since I'm off. I'm going on vacation next week but its by the lake and there are a lot of steps from the house to the lake so I will get my workouts in who know maybe I will come back lighter then I left

I got in a few workouts last week. My weight is pretty much the same. I haven't been drinking enough water and that makes me bloated for some reason, but I'm trying to get it in like I need to.
Sounds like you're on your feet a lot. You probably could count more. Have you ever wore a pedometer to work?

Have you been able o fit any work outs in lately. Me just a little here or there. But I have been working and I'm a nurse at a rehab center so I probably could count a lot more than I do Between being on my feet for 12 hrs and all the heavy lifting I do. How was you weight in this week? I was down 2lbs all week then this morning I was up 2lbs I'm going to weigh in again in the morning and see if there is a difference emoticon Keep it moving

Thank you! I haven't lost anything in about 4 months, so I was pleasantly surprised. And I already feel better from just the little bit of exercise that I've been getting

I actually got in exercise twice this week so far. Somehow I lost 2 pounds this week! It had to be the better eating, because I only got in about 2 workouts all last week. But I'll take it. The little things do add up.

sorry its been a few days. I had work then my dog chewed my power cord to the computer so I am borrowing one til i get a new one.

This week I have only got the bathroom break work outs in. but it seems to be doing the job I feel much better and I am down another pound. WooHoo. I still need to find time to get regular work outs in. my diet has been just ok. I keep skipping lunch from being busy or just forgetting which is not going to help.
How has your week been going. Were you able to get any workouts in? All those daily things count we need to not sell our selves short. Some times we work harder doing them then we would if we did an actual work out

I did get a full workout in on thursday. But my mother in law came to visit for a couple of days so I didn't get a chance to actually exercise. Though on friday I did a little bit of cleaning up the yard and dog pens. So I guess I got at least some arms in from shoveling poo, lol. I keep forgetting to try the bathroom challenges. But I did try to teach the kids how to do push ups yesterday. So I got a few of them in. Now my shoulders are killing me. It's a pain working your body up to where you don't hurt all the time.
My weakness is the eating too. I grew up with a mom who is a great cook and she taught me to cook, so I love food. I do love fruits and veggies and stuff that's good for you, but I still love the junk food and sweets too.

I wasn't able to get any in on thursday but friday I did the bathroom challenges through out the day and let me tell you I'm starting to get pretty sore from them we will see on monday (weight in day) if its making a difference. I'm glad to hear that you are eating good at least if you don't get work outs in at least you have that. I'm not always the best at that. That's my weakness I need to find healthier receipts to cook and take the time...

I hope you were able to get some workouts in while the baby slept. Let me know if you tried those bathroom breaks and how they are working for you. Have a good and active weekend emoticon

That is a good suggestion. Even if its a bit at a time it adds up. I didn't get any other exercise in, but I am starting to eat better. I notice that I feel better when I'm not eating so much junk. But I'm getting back into my routine starting today. I either do a dvd or get on the treadmill while the baby is taking her nap. I'm tired of feeling badly. I'm ready to get back to where I was. I hope that you get to fit in some exercise today!

How did your day go? Hope you were able to get some exercise in even if it was just cleaning your house. You can also try the bathroom challenges that's kind of what I was doing. Every time I go to the bathroom I do wall push ups, squats, or jumping jacks this has seemed to help I can feel my legs and arms getting sore. Just a suggestion. emoticon
