IN TWO HIM.....SEE
He is Jehovah Rophe; Your Healer (Exodus 15:26)
He longs to be intimate with you
He desires to send His word to you personally, and heal you
Ask Him to send you a personal healing scripture that He desires for you
"He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength...But to those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint." (Isa 40:29, 31)
Encouragement just for You
Seven reasons why He heals;
1) It is His will to heal you
Mark 1: 40-41 tells how a leper came to Jesus for healing and said, "If you are willing, You can make me clean." Then Jesus moved with compassion and said, "I am willing; be cleansed."--- Jesus heals because it is His will and He is moved out of compassion!
2) Salvation is a cause for healing
Mark 7:27 "Let the children be filled first, for it is not good to take the children's bread and throw it to the little dogs."--- Jesus, our Savior was lashed with 39 stripes that washed away all of our sickness and disease. "By His stripes, we are healed" Healing is the children's bread. We are God's children!
3) Healing brings glory to God the Father
In Matthew chapter 15 verses 30-31, it talks about great multitudes coming to Jesus to be healed; the blind, the lame, the mute and the maimed. He healed them all and they glorified God.--- Jesus heals to glorify the Father and show His awesome power!
4) He watches over His word to perform it
Again in the book of Matthew, chapter 8 verses 16-17, it talks about Jesus healing the sick which fulfilled the scriptures by Isaiah the prophet.--- Jesus heals because He fulfills the word of God. He is the Word and God watches over His word to perform it!
5) He heals that we might know Him and believe
John 10:37-38 says, "If I do not do the works of My Father, do not believe Me; but if I do, though you do not believe Me, believe the works that you may know and believe."---He heals to confirm God's word that we might know Him and believe!
6) He heals because of the blood covenant
Isaiah 53:4-5 "Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted....and by His stripes we are healed."---God is a covenant God. God is mindful of His covenant. He has declared to His people the power of His works, in giving them the heritage of the nations. He will not break His covenant, nor will He altar the word that has gone out of His lips (Psalm 89:34; Psalm 111:5b-6).--- Healing is a blood covenant issue and if God said it, He will do it!
7) He does good to ALL who are oppressed of the devil
God annointed Jesus with the Holy Spirit and with power to heal. He went about doing good, healing all who were opressed by the devil, for God was with Him (Acts 10:38)---Jesus heals to restore the works of the devil!
How does Jesus heal today?
Seven ways how He heals us today
1) By faith
"Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." (Hebrews 11:1). The substance to use, is the word of God. We hope in healing, wholeness, health though it is not seen yet, believing that God is our healer, He said it and we believe it. It is having an assurance, confirmation or confidence in God's character, His personality and His ability to be a God true to His word! We must believe that God is a rewarder to them that diligently seek Him!
2) Prayer with anointing of oil
James 5:14-15 tell us that if any of us are sick, we should seek the elders (or mature ones; leaders) for prayer and anointing of oil, and the prayer of faith will save him who is sick, and the Lord will restore him; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven! The oil is symbolic to the Holy Spirit. The anointing of God is burden removing and yoke destroying! (See Isaiah 10:27)
3) Laying on of hands in the name of Jesus
Mark 16:17-18 says, " And these signs will follow those who believe; In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tonques; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means harm them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover." The Holy Spirit, Christ in us--His power flows through our hands!
4) Prayer and fasting
In Matthew 17 verses 15-21, it tells us the story of a Father whose son had epilepsy and suffered greatly. He had brought his son to Jesus' disciples because he had seen them operate in the power of God before, however this time they could not cure this boy. Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him.--Only through prayer and fasting is one able to see what God sees. Jesus said that he does nothing without seeing His Father do it first. If we don't see what God sees, we will bring disappointment and possibly embarrasement. We could be pointing guns and aiming at the wrong target so to speak and bring frustration to the receiver and humiliation to us!
5) Recieving a personal word from the Lord
Psalm 107:19-20 "Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and He saved them out of their distresses. He sent His word and healed them." What does that mean? When we find scriptures concerning healing, we read and meditate on these words, then Holy Spirit enlightens our understanding so that in our hearts we have a knowing, or a confidence that this is exactly how God is going to heal us. This is called a Rhema word from God! We just know that we know that we know! He gives us the faith to believe and we stand on that word until it manifests in our life!
6) Claiming the name of Jesus above the name of the sickness.
God's power is in Jesus name. Phil 2:9-10 states, "Therefore God exalted him [Jesus] to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth." Everything in this world has a name. There is nothing in this world that isn't named. Speak the name of that illness and command it to leave in the name of Jesus! It must bow to the name of Jesus and submit to the authority of Jesus' name. It is rendered powerless and it must cease its operation in your body. "Far above all rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named, not only in this age and in this world, but also in the age and the world which are to come." (Eph 1:21)---Jesus Himself said, "If you ask anything in My name, I will do it" (John 14:14)
7) Confession (Speaking the word outloud)
In Matthew 8:5-8, 13 we read of another way God heals. A centurion asked Jesus to heal his servant boy who was lying at his house....paralyzed and distressed with intense pains. Now, the centurion said to Jesus (who is the word)...."but only speak the word, and my servant boy will be cured." He spoke outloud, "my servant boy will be cured". He knew one word from Jesus, and healing would come! But Jesus responded by saying, "Go, and it shall be done as you believed" and the boy was healed! The centurion spoke what he believed--Jesus is the healer.
These are not formulas. We don't go down the list and try to manufacture a response from God. Instead, we sit at the feet of our Lord Jesus and ask Him how He chooses to heal us, then we obey. It is a personal relationship.
