Exhibit of Rare Elvis Artifacts Debuting in Australia
April 7-29, 2011
A new exhibition celebrating the life of Elvis Presley will soon make its debut in Australia! Stockland Baulkham Hills, in association with Greg Page, is proud to announce "Elvis Is In The Building," an exhibition of extremely rare artifacts from the King of Rock 'n' Roll.
Page is a former member of the famous children’s entertainment group "The Wiggles," as well as a huge Elvis fan. Known for his desire to give back to the community, Page has graciously agreed to place a significant part of his extensive collection of artifacts on display at Stockland Baulkham Hills, a shopping center outside Sydney, Australia.
Greg’s extremely rare Elvis collection consists of numerous items including stage worn suits, jewelry, books, movie costumes, and furniture. A highlight of the tour will definitely be Elvis' magnificent 1956 Lincoln Continental Mark II, on display in Australia for the very first time.
All funds raised through donations at the exhibit will go directly to the Salvation Army in Australia to support those who have been affected by natural disasters.
"Elvis Is In The Building" will be on display at Stockland Baulkham Hills from April 7, 2011 through April 29, 2011. Visitors to the exhibit will also be able to enjoy Elvis-themed activities and entertainment, including concerts from Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artists.www.elvisclub.org/view_print.asp?id=502865

Elvis Memorabilia To Go On Show At Stockland Mall Baulkham Hill
Months of hard work and negotiations have now come to fruition and I am proud to announce that we are now finalizing a Licence Agreement with Elvis Presley Enterprises whereby they are endorsing the first exhibition of Elvis Presley artefacts to be seen outside the USA.
We are working with Stockland Retail to hold this exhibition at selected Stockland shopping malls throughout Australia, the first one of which will be Stockland Mall in Baulkham Hills.
All funds raised through Gold Coin Donation will go directly to the Salvation Army to help support the many Australian’s that have been adversely affected by the natural disasters our country has been impacted by over the past few months.
This extremely rare Elvis collection consists of numerous items, including stage worn suits (including the full length Aloha from Hawaii cape), personal clothing, jewellery, books, movie costumes, documents and furniture and other personal items some of which have come from Graceland. The highlight of the tour however, will definitely be the magnificent 5.5 metre long 1956 Lincoln Continental Mark II, one of Elvis Presley’s first, and arguably favourite, luxury car, on display in Australia for the very first time. This unique vehicle will soon be returning home to Graceland in Memphis, USA.
At the time that Elvis purchased that car, the money paid for it would have bought two of the top of the line Cadillacs or one Rolls Royce.
This unique exhibition starts its tour on Thursday 7th April and will be in Baulkham Hills for 3 weeks.
Marketing Manager for Stockland Mall Baulkham Hills, Mark Galbraith, said “We are thrilled that Greg Page and EPE have chosen Stockland Baulkham Hills as the hosting venue for his stunning collection. We are hoping to raise at least $50,000 for the Salvation Army whilst also providing the local community with the experience of a lifetime. As well as the 3 week exhibition itself, we will be entertaining our shoppers throughout April with various events including a series of Elvis Tribute Artists”.
