Welcome to our second challenge of 2011. I hope you had fun planning out goals and writing your script for the year.
This week's challenge is designed to help you find the support your need to fulfill your goals and desire for your healthy lifestyle journey. You know the old say...no man is an island, no man stands alone? So how can you increase your chances of success and get the help you need? Pick one or all of the ideas below for the week.
1. Add some sparkfriends. Look at the bottom of the team page and friend some newbies. People on your team need to know you and you need to know them so that we can all help each other on to victory.
2. Give some goodies - staying current with the spark friends who have already supported you is important. I got a goodie this week from someone who said they were picking a person a week to thank for the help and support they had received and I was the week's choice. That made me feel incredibly special.
3. Get active on the daily chat thread. It helps to check in and communicate with your teammates.
4. Find a buddy - if you've done all the other things and you want someone to really be committed to helping you, just ask. I have buddies who text and email me. It always helps on a down day to get that connect from someone who knows my goals and I know theirs. Connect and share your goals and ask someone to hold you accountable.
