Thanks all for the insight judging from what was said I think I will test it out first before spending so much on the system and cannot complete them since I am starting out. I will keep everyone posted on what I've decided.
I am currently during the 30 day shred and its hard. I also am doing "No more trouble Zones". I found out that p90x has a precursor series that called P90...without the X. Since I have been doing these videos, I am just upset that I wasted all that money ona gym membership.

I am currently doing Insanity which is like a brother to P90X. P90X is very intense, I would suggest trying to view some of the DVD's b4 you start. Jillian's 30 day shred might be a good place to start.
I have heard that it was intense too. Definitely not for the "light weights". If I ever try it I am going to wait until I'm ready to commit to it completely. I am just not there yet. Best wishes to whoever is doing it though

I am looking for a really effective workout that I can do at home and I have heard ALOT about P90X. I want to try this system but I am a bit aprehensive, I weigh 240 and I am wondering if I can really keep up with this system.
I am wondering if anyone here has tried it and what do you think/suggest for me?
