Thanks all for the insight judging from what was said I think I will test it out first before spending so much on the system and cannot complete them since I am starting out. I will keep everyone posted on what I've decided.

I am currently during the 30 day shred and its hard. I also am doing "No more trouble Zones". I found out that p90x has a precursor series that called P90...without the X. Since I have been doing these videos, I am just upset that I wasted all that money ona gym membership.

I am currently doing Insanity which is like a brother to P90X. P90X is very intense, I would suggest trying to view some of the DVD's b4 you start.
Jillian's 30 day shred might be a good place to start.

I have definitely thought about doing it. Even if I have to repeat it because I know at first it is going to be hard. If it's not hard then how will I get the results I want?

I have heard that it was intense too. Definitely not for the "light weights". If I ever try it I am going to wait until I'm ready to commit to it completely. I am just not there yet. Best wishes to whoever is doing it though

No I have not tried it but it looks intense..I may try it in the near future it looks like it gives good results but it looks like it is NO JOKE either...It seems like a kick butt workout!

I am looking for a really effective workout that I can do at home and I have heard ALOT about P90X. I want to try this system but I am a bit aprehensive, I weigh 240 and I am wondering if I can really keep up with this system.

I am wondering if anyone here has tried it and what do you think/suggest for me?

Thanks.
