I've been asked to bring a tossed salad to my aunt's for Easter dinner, so I guess I won't be crocking. Unless anyone has a crock pot tossed salad recipe?!? LOL. Seems a little counterproductive to me!

your comments on the tube biscuits makes me laugh. I would love to be able to make biscuits and have many people try to teach me, but mine come out just plain horrible.....my kids love gravy biscuits for breakfast, but I also don't like gravy so Sun. a.m. when they were young the deal was if they got up and ready on time for church without fussing, then we would go to Hardee's or McD's so they could have their biscuits/gravy - worked like a charm.

My turn for cooking the meal has not come yet, we go to my mothers for all family holidays, there we get together with my brothers, they are not married and the one that is married does not come. So for now no crockpot cooking for me for holidays. I would never have thought to cook a ham in a crockpot!

Hi Seamyst, glad to see you posting again! Like you, I'm going to have a ham in 1 crockpot, but I'm going to do sweet potatoes in the other. Nothing says "holiday" to me more than sweet potatoes & tube biscuits (Mom wasn't a great cook)
