I use ground beef, but any ground meat such as turkey would work.
You can downsize this, I have always used a large pot for this one, most crockpots would only take about half of this.
1 - lb ground beef (browned)
1 med onion diced and cooked with beef
6 cans stewed tomatoes
6 cans kidney beans
1 pkg chili seasoning mix (I use mild)
extra chili spice to taste, as needed
Simply combine all ingredients, stir together and set on low.
We add grated cheese or oyster crakers when serving.
Goal: Just to get thru each day.
