are you pre-browning the hamburger??

if so - likely a couple of hours on high is more then sufficient as it doesn't look like it takes that long to cook in a frying pan

I'm making Pastitsio, its a greek dish kinda like a lasgna, but with a bechmel sauce on top. I don't have the time to cook the meat sauce so I wanted to use my crock pot. This is the basic recipe, greekfood.about.com/od/syrupssauces/

I just don't know how long I should let it cook. I am going to double the recipe and use a 6.5qt crock pot. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
