I posted this to the give /get motivation thread and should have posted this here. Sorry. For now my weigh in will be Friday but will eventually make it Monday.


I know it's really late to post on here since there is only a week left to this challenge. I haven't been faithful to SP, but the last month or so I've been trying log on here more. It helps bc I've been logging in my weight with the app, but you can't log into the teams so I don't really think to post on here.

Anyway, I wanted to post that since aug 12th, I've lost 25 lbs. So I have about 80 pounds to go. I'm definately lookin forward to the next challenge to stay motivated to get this weight off. I've tried off and on for the last 7 years to lose this weight. I decided to have another baby in the middle of that tho. :) this is the first time since I've really tried to lose weight since my youngest was born and he turns three next sat. So I'm excited to be apart of these challenges from here on out!!

I am I guess in "training" these last days of September. Monday weigh ins for me (help keep me in line on the weekends) and taking the basic steps around starting to exercise (even a bit) daily and getting into the routine of food logging. I am so good the first 1/2 of the day... and then I seem to lose it- food wise, and tracking wise at night. My goal is to conquer that before the Quarter start in October. I cannot wait for the Oct-Dec challenge!!!

Sorry, I'm so late & last min w this but these past 2-3 mths, I've struggled, but lost plenty of inches & grown on this WL Journey and reached over 100 lbs lost to date in just over a yr, yippee!! So copied the template, but will be updating in the near future (before the mth is out of course lol) I know I didn't lose 23 lbs this qtr, but I'm doing this to keep myself accountable and prepared for the next qtrly challenge. Anyways, thanks Doll!! :D

yes lets Lyn! i weigh in during the weekend. I'm really struggling with weight loss even though my food and exercise has been decent. my food i still need to work on a bit though. so see how it goes but i'm going to keep trying! We both can do this!

I'm just starting for the month of september. and will officially join in october.

current weight is at 232.2. I haven't been able to weigh myself for two weeks just due to my chedule and water retention and bloating. So hopefully next week i can start!

My 1st post! I have finally found the courage to challenge myself to a September 4th start to a year long journey in losing 100lbs. I'm just shy of turning 48 years old and am 5' 10" tall (I've always been grateful for my height, but there is no disguising the negatives that come with being overweight any longer) So... while I'm no stranger to weight loss/gain over the years... I'm here to get it right this time! Is there anyone else out there just getting started with their year long challenge? If so, perhaps we can support one another.

I like the idea of the 25lb quarterly challenge... but are there different start dates? Did I miss this challenge or can I just hop on with my own quarterly, Sept/Oct/Nov?

I finally got on a scale yesterday (7/3) after way too long (having a hard time getting back into things since my son's accident back in Dec) and I'm back up (no surprise) to 301.1 (ugh!)

That makes my goal for the end of this challenge to be: 276!

YEs I just joined this team today and thought I'd join this challenge too, as I have my numbers. I have been a member on SparkPeople for three weeks as of yesterday as well. I have a lot of weight to loose overall (152lbs from starting weight to be exact). I am hoping to do this by next fourth of July one year exactly from my start date.

So to my suprise this morning the scale went down I wanted to be at 220 or below on monday my bday and i hit that goal today the scale said 219.4 so I an very pleased with that
