The CDC has released its annual "Obesity Map," showing that once again, if it weren't for Mississippi, Louisiana would be dead last. We are officially the second fattest state in the country.
Unlike our neighbors to the east, however, we also are ranked at the top of the "statistics" on who has the best food and the most fun. Or, to sum up our official motto, who cares?
What do you think, NO? Are we so besotted with our own culinary genius that we throw caution to the winds? So busy with our bon temps that we can't be bothered? Or so stupefied with heat and powdered sugar that we can't move?
Given our culture, what is your greatest challenge to getting fit? And what strategies have you found to keep on track while still doing what we do best?
