I like mall walking. It's air-conditioned, the floor (terrain) is even, lots of water fountains, and I can check out the sales.
Or, when I lived in a small town, a lot of people went Wal-Mart walking, going around the inside perimeter. I imagine the same thing would work in Target, Best Buy, or any other large store.
Plus, you get to listen to all that great music.

Martha

I tried hard, and look where it got me. This time I'm trying easy.

The heat seems oppressive this summer. I am sticking to the gym for most of my workouts. I ride my bicycle outside but mostly on the trace where it is shady and late in the evening.

Of course it's hard. It's supposed to be hard. If it were easy, everybody would do it. Hard is what makes it great.

High heat can really melt motivation fast. How do you stay active without stroking out?
