Still the same, although since the last time I posted my exercise has not been constant throughout this whole time.
But I'm back at it again! Mostly walking, stationary bicycle, and some 5 pound dumbbells for strength training.

Did a lot of work I wanted to finish and I am happy.
I will have 12000 steps today, Step machine, walk and garden work for 5 hours, crunches, weight lifting, dancing, squats. Grapes and juice are my night snack. Smile and be happy.

I am consistently on the treadmill for 20 minutes every day. I have been able to do 1.5 miles on average in those 20 minutes. I have been doing the weight machines every other day at my local rec center. Not bad for me...

It's tough, and you have to find something you don't mind doing on a regular basis. I know its best to shake up your routine, but if you don't have a basic thing you like to do, it will just fall apart.

I like the elliptical because (being old . . . okay over 40) I like to move fast without killing my joints. I also like free weights. With both I feel I can see and monitor change more readily.

Good luck in finding something. Try a little bit of everything! A friend of mine loves zoomba. For the reasons she loves it, I really hate it. Everyone is different!

I am now a member of my local rec center gym and am going on a regular basis (about 5 times a week). I use the treadmill, stair step machine, and the weight equipment as well. Yay for me!

I've had to stop doing lunges and squats. I've been watching my form, but they still make my knees hurt. I've got to come up with something else that will still work those muscles, but easier on those joints.

I try to walk at least a mile every day. Or at least most days... MWF I try to get in a run - 3-5 miles total walking and running. Strength trainings - my goal is some every day, and yes, I'm keeping in mind the rest day between. To allow for that, on my running days I strength train core and upper body. (crunches, pushups...) On TThS when I just walk, I do lower body (lunges, squats, calf raises...) Sunday I get in a mile if I can, but don't strength train. I just ordered a pedometer - the way my mind works it will probably help me increase the number of steps I take each day.

I use a pedometer I wear and I try do get aleast 10,000 steps a day. Don't always succeed but I try to get as many as possible. I alos do strenght training 2x's a week.

Kelly, check out the exercises in Spark America. As you know I have a bad back and FMS so I am really limited to what I can do but I found 20 or 25 of them in there I can do without causing more damage to my body. I go in every once in awhile and change some out too. I started my exercise program in the last week of Dec. when I went ahead and signed up for Spark America. I figured there wouldn't be anything I could do but was very surprised. Of course, I had to remove all they had fixed up for me and look at the different catagories of them and pick out ones I thought and knew I could safely do. Since then, I have lost 3" on the waist and 2 1/2 off the hips and after 3 weeks, I was looking forward to doing them. Now, when I wake up, the first thought that pops into my mind is, is it an exercise day. SP doesn't want us exercising everyday. They want us to have a rest day in between. On alternate days, everyday really, I wear my pedometer and try to get in more steps than the day before. If I don't fine. I record at least 30 min. of walking in, in the Cardio section each day.

Water is very important for us. We may, and I do, require more than the 8 glasses a day. The link goes to a water calculator I use to see what I need for my current weight. Mt requirement has dropped 9 ounces due to weight loss. Yipee!

I have several leslie Sansone walking at home dvds that I use throughout the week, with weights, waist belt, kick-boxing etc. I usually do 2-3 miles everday plus I have a pedometer on me and I try to get at least 10000 steps daily.

I jog on the treadmill 3 days a week and strength train and walk two days a week. So far I haven't gotten bored, but I used to run track so I always did like the feeling after a good run.

I am in the process of moving all of our exercise equipment into a downstairs living room. The treadmill, bike, stair climber and gazelle are all in place. Just need to get the weight equipment down there. I keep thinking that if it is all in one room I will be more likely to use it on a daily basis. Until now my workouts have been sporadic. I'd like to reach a point where I ENJOY to exercise. So far it hasn't happened.

I try and walk on my treadmill at least 5 or 6 days a week. I also bought an excerise ball recently because someone suggested it. I figured it couldn't hurt to try something new. We also have an stationary bike at our house and a Bow-Flex, but I haven't started using those yet. It is on my things to do list!
