I tried a new Thai dish (Pad Khron). Hefty calories, but I had enough to cover it. However I didn't have enough to cover the creme brulee I had for desert! I'm over by 300 calories. Good thing I've been hitting the exercise harder this week!

I think extending it would be great, and maybe making it to try something new at least every other day, rather than every day, unless you can come up with enough for every day!

Oh dear, I haven't come up with anything yet this week! I don't have anything here that is 'new', and can't go shopping until tomorrow--I will see if I can find something to try!

Sunday 23rd..... Coke Zero- no joy there

Monday 24th...... Brussel Sprouts- euwww

Tuesday 25th..... yams- not to thrilled with them

Wednesday 26th........ rice crackers- not bad

Thursday 27th......... wonton soup- ok

Friday 28th ..........nada

Saturday 29th ......got to go shopping

Sunday 23rd..... hmm nuthin

Monday 24th...... dried kidney and black beans (don't like them as much as the canned ones - they're not as soft)

Tuesday 25th..... Lychee (Litchis)

Wednesday 26th........ Morning Star Farms veggie burgers (mushroom flavor and Philly Cheese Steak flavor)

Thursday 27th......... nothing new today! I tried a new recipe, but it was stuff I've had before. I made cinamon sugar tortilla crips.

Sunday 23rd..... Lady Grey Tea. (don't like it)

Monday 24th...... Wasabi. (loved it but OMG, it is HOT!!!)

Tuesday 25th..... Smoked Hock (pigs ankle). Very nice, and now I will cook what is left into Pea & Ham soup. YUM!!!!

Wednesday 26th........ Miso Soup (loved it)

Thursday 27th......... Honeydew Melon (interesting)

Friday 28th

Saturday 29th ....... dried Goji (pronounced Gorjee) Berries (very nice) info on them can be found at ....

Well...it wasn't entirely new...but mom made the chili from dried beans instead of the normal canned ones that she usually uses....requiring hours of soaking. Does that count?

First of all.......let me apologize for getting the title of this challenge inside out & upside down....LOL!!!! Calcium indeed (DUH!!!!)

Secondly, I had a few reservation for me too as too what new stuff I could try BUT I have found heaps, so keep looking everyone.

Oh I like this challenge It is one I recently did at the virtual sparks summer camp. Of course the challenge for me will to find seven more vegetables and fruit or meats that I havent tried, but I am game lol
