I create the dessert salad sometimes. It consists of the shredded carrots from the salad bar, along with sunflower seeds, and raisins. Then I drizzle some honey on it for some extra sweetness. It is yummy. A nice combination of salty, sweet and coolness. emoticon

Hey everyone!
So I am not sure how everyone else feels about this, but I feel that it is very difficult to make healthy choices in the dining hall (especially since I am a vegetarian, and sometimes the only thing I can find to eat is salad and cheese pizza!).
Anyway, the point of this is: We are all in a similar boat, right? We have a plethora of unhealthy food at our disposal when we enter the cafeteria or go through our microwavable foods that we all thrive on.
Would anyone be interested in setting up a challenge to find one new, healthy, college-friendly food a week and share with the group? Anything from dining hall foods, to prepackaged snack, to something that you have created with smuggled cafe food! I just thought that having a collection of what is available to college students could help all of us to make smarter, healthier choices.
