I hope there are still people reading this team page... Not sure if I am "in" the program, but I read and re-read this book, and I lift at least twice a week in addition to two swim days. I never really followed the stages, but I try to follow other rules -- never lift two days in a row, more protein intake, don't do Barbie weights but lift as much as I can in good form, etc... I love lifting, and I love what it does to my body. I lost ten pounds in 10 months, and the muscle tone... I think I will keep going with this program!

I will be starting stage 2 next week. I workout from home so I have to make some adjustment in exercises.

did workout a of stage 2 for the first time yesterday. WOW! it was awesome but definitely harder than stage 1. and that squat push press... i will definitely need to get a trainer at the gym to look at my form and help me. i'm sure i was VERY wrong with it. but i loved it, nonetheless. i feel like this stage is REALLY going to help transform my body.

Holy cow! I can't believe the way I was sore after doing the elevated foot lunge in Stage II-but it was a good hurt, if you know what I'm saying. Though I was able to squat with 85lbs (in the Smith machine) I'm only able to do bar weight (45lbs.) for the squat push press...it encourages me to keep on keeping on to read how others are doing with this program.
I am half way through stage 2 (completed 4 workouts)and I am sore but really enjoying it, other than the squat/push press which I am not very good at. My lower body is way stronger than my upper body, so I feel like I could be squatting much more, but I am maxed out for the press.

Wow, do I ever have sore quads today. My shoulders are a little sore too, but my quads! Think it was from the rear elevated lunges. Who would have thought such a small change would really make a huge difference.
