6/5 -15- For me, with severe asthma, deep breathing is a real challenge. But I've found in the past, during my yoga practice, that my asthma was reduced and more manageable when I practiced breathing on a regular basis. This also once saved my life during a serious asthma attack... I managed to calm myself and breath as deliberately as I could until I could manage to get my nebulizer mask on and running.
6/7- 20 minutes. Sat outside on my deck amongst my plants, listening to the birds and breathing. NICE!
6/4 15 min. This is my 3rd week of deep breathing and I can feel a difference in my diaphragm expanding. Found myself deep breathing today waiting for the doctor. That's my goal, to practice often enough it becomes automatic.
