If I can stick to it this time, this will be the 2nd official time I've done south beach. The first time I lost about 40 lbs. in 8 or 9 months. Now, if I were to count all the times I've tried it since I had my kids and never made it past the first 2 weeks, then this would probably be my 20th time. LOL. I'm going to once again say I'm committed to doing this!!! I'm at my heaviest non prego weight, coincidentally matches up with my heaviest prego weight :(
I am coming off WW and diet jumping. I had looked at some other message boards, but thought I should come back here. I've "brainwashed" my oldest into realizing that too much sugar makes her sick, so hopefully she will be able to help me.
I also had recently started C25K but had to stop because my knees were giving me problems. I'm going to restart by walking 30 min a day until I drop 20 or so lbs and then maybe my knees will be able to tolerate it.
My plan right now is to go grocery shopping this afternoon and prep a bunch of foods so I don't have any excuses not to get past this first 2 weeks.
