Poached pears (make flavored gelatin w/1 1/2 c water, while still warm, slice in a pear or two, microwave 9 minutes; lift pears out, place in bowl and sprinkle with cinnamon, chill; chill the leftover gelatin for an additional snack later); stop light peppers w/olive pecan butter (half block of lowfat cream cheese mixed with ground pecans and minced green olives. 1 T is a serving)

I agree it works for me having 2 snacks and EXACTLY at the times you mentioned KIERAE!!! After dinner if I must I'll have some sugar-free jello, love black cherry flavor!

Well I'm off to some pistachios, had a late breakfast this morning!

Happy snacking everyone!

Happy Saturday to you! I hope you all have some fun plans for the day today.

Do you ever find yourself needing more energy around 10am & 4pm each day? Maybe you should consider spreading your calories throughout the day with smaller meals AND snacks. Hmm....that's a GREAT IDEA!

Your challenge today is to EAT TWO HEALTHY SNACKS. Have one in the morning after your body has used the energy from your breakfast. Have a healthy snack during the late afternoon when your body is starting to get tired, and dinner won't be for a few hours.

Many folks swear by eating three smaller meals and two healthy snacks a day. Give it a try. You just might find out that this works beautifully with your hectic schedule.

Have a great day today!

I like living. I have sometimes been wildly, despairingly, acutely miserable, racked with sorrow, but through it all I still know quite certainly that just to be alive is a grand thing. Agatha Christie
