Sodium. It seems to be in everything that we buy. It is even in foods such as cookies, soda, and breads.
Your challenge today is to KEEP YOUR SODIUM IN CHECK & READ LABELS! Try to keep your sodium under 2400 (lower than that is preferred). Watch out for these foods as they have lots of salt in them:
*Snack foods (crackers, chips, cookies)
Remember: READ LABELS!
Also, instead of using salt while you are cooking, try some other ways to flavor your foods:
*Fresh or dried herbs
*Lemon or lime juice
*Low sodium broth
