On foods that don't show up on the initial search of the database. Make sure you search "search foods entered by others". Guaranteed someone else has added that food into the database already so you won't have to hand enter it all again.

Okay - I said I would track my food starting today, and tracking it I am. I slept in for 5 a.m. Boot Camp so will be doing the night time Boot Camp at 6 p.m. Good times, good times! And I have my water here at work.

I think I am all set to get that chocolate monkey off my back! Stupid Valentine's Day!

IHOP? Are they still there? It's been so long since I've eaten there, I wasn't sure it still existed....lol

On a recent trip though, I did get stuck having to eat at Waffle House. Due to VERY foggy conditions, we couldn't look for a better place to eat.

Although I used to love eating there, it almost made me sick just sitting there smelling the place...all the "sweet" smells, not to mention the GREASY aromas...things that used to smell so good and appetizing.

Hey...did I grow up when I wasn't looking???

I do a lot of adding too, but only on stuff I don't have a label for. I compare through Calorie King and some other sites to get facts. The facts I want I can't find...I hate IHOP!

Yes, there is a way.
Take your food label to the computer.
On the nutrition tracker, there's a button "add a food not listed". Click that.
You'll get a box where you can enter everything from your label..calories, fats, carbs, etc.
Don't forget to hit SAVE. I learned that one the hard way..lol
From then on, the food will be there for you. You'll click in the circle that says "enter foods I've entered" or something like that and your food will be there to add to your tracker.

On that particular food, I don't use it so I can't check it out myself. Read the ingredients list. Does it have added sugar? If it does, then it's probably not the best for you to be using.

Go for the plain oatmeal instead, then add your own sweeteners and spices.

Do a search for Quaker and it should come up. I eat the same thing but mine is always maple brown sugar...you can use maple brown sugar...no difference.

I have question about logging my food, is there a way for me to log my food that is not one the list of foods? For example, this morning, I have oatmeal Weight control cinnamon flaver, fruit, and toast. How do I put that particular information there?
