OK, NancyPat and everyone. I understand! I don't do this race every year, since I'm not based in New York. But I'm doing it this year - 2014 - for the THIRD time ever, and have filed my race registration! Hope everything goes well for me getting there!

Anyone else plan to register for and run/walk and/or jog annual MORE Magazine/ Fitness Magazine Half-Marathon for Over-40 Women?

This is a QUALIFYING RACE for the New York City Marathon. Both races are managed through NYRR.org (New York Roadrunners).

The MORE Mag / Fitness Mag half-marathon repeats every Spring, so all interested are ENCOURAGED to use this 50+ Females' group thread each year; especially between January and April-May.

Race registration starts in January, and the race is always 8:00AM, Sunday morning, in CENTRAL PARK, usually around mid-April.

10th anniversary Race Day is Sunday, April 13th, 2013. Registration through NEW YORK ROADRUNNERS' website: www.nyrr.org

Look for the "Women's Race" info, or photo, and click on it. Registration ends April 9th, but it's FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED.

This race is extremely popular and it will fill up.
