I use to LOVE to skate and just said ti my girls that I wish I could do it now. Legs are too bad, even having a rough time walking , let alone skating. It wasn't inline skates but the old fashion 8 wheels. I would go every Sat. even after going to the dentist first. I would walk across town to the skating ring and skate for 4-5 hours until my Dad could pick me up. LOVED IT.

Wow. I changed things up today by skating 5K in a "race".
Actually, I just went to skate, not to race.
But I ended up skating alongside elite skaters! THAT was a lesson.
And I've been in weight-loss mode so long, I FORGOT how I needed to eat to have enough energy to do a 10K on skates! Inline skates.
So, I managed to finish 5K of a 10K race!
Lessons learned for next time!!
