I think your on the right track, changing your drink of choice
I would stick with what your doing, and if your feeling like your being cheated by not having your favorite treat, then use it as such, if this is a daily meeting, then once a week have the crueller.. but only once a week and enjoy every single sweet bite, really concentrate on how good it tastes. How well you like it and just savour it.
this is life, you cannot go your whole life without enjoying the simple things, like a crueller, or pie or cake..
do you honestly think you will celebrate your 80th birthday refusing a piece of cake, because you made a promise to never ever have a piece of cake again??? that's not a life I would want to live.
Its not something to have every single day, day in day out, as long as your eating healthy most of the time, its okay to say, today is a good day and I deserve a crueller.
Get your exercise, watch what you eat and live life.
