I was told today that u can also get coupons by going proctor and gamble sites for manufactures coupons also general mills I am going to check this out today

I see from your spark page that you are from Ohio. Here is one Ohio blogger who does a Kroger matchup and a Walmart matchup. http://dealseekingmom.com/ They aren't always the easiest to read but they read like....

Old Spice Deodorant - $0.99
$1/2 Old Spice Product, exp. 1/31/12 (P&G 01/01/12)
$0.49 ea. wyb 2 after coupon and instant savings!

This means the price is $.99 for the item and that there is a coupon in the 1/1/12 Proctor & Gamble ad and if you use it on the item and buy 2 as the coupon requires, you will pay $.49 each. Most blogs have an abbreviation page if you have trouble with reading the matchups. But finding a blogger who does the work for you, and you just have to read it over, keep your inserts intact in date order (There are dates on the spine of the inserts in small letters/numbers.) and then when you are planning your grocery shopping, clip the coupons you need/want.

1. You will never save the amounts of money that you see on the extreme couponing show. That show is showing some things that are not exactly legal. (Using say a General Mills Fiber One coupon on say Lucky Charms and other things.)

2. To me the best way to save money with coupons is to find a local blogger who blogs your stores and your deals. Kroger and Walmart both have bloggers who do them. Kroger sales seem to vary some by region, but many Krogers doubles or even triples $.50 coupons. My mom's Kroger's in Ohio does, so I am trying to send her some $.50 coupons on occasion.

3. When it comes to getting more coupons, talk to your friends who get newspapers and don't coupon. They can save their inserts for you and printing online can be helpful too.

I have been clipping coupons or years and I have not been able to be successful with this. The town I live in only has a walmart and a kroger and it seems as if I can only save a dollar or two. Since I have been trying to make a change with my health I have been trying to figure out how I can save money and make my budget healthier at the same time. I feel like I am the only person out there who is unable to use coupons successfully. I joined this group to try and help me with what I call my lack of coupon knowledge. I have been to some sites that have videos with how to help save but I seem to not be able to get these to work for my family. Where I live i only get coupons in my paper sporadically and have no idea how I can get coupons without having to buy them on line because our budget does not have room for me to buy coupons off the internet. I guess I am asking for some guidance with this problem and I am also sure my husband would be grateful if i can find a way to save us much needed money when it comes to groceries.
