I am in that lull right now! I just bought myself some new workout clothes and new running shoes. I cant wait to put on those shoes and go for it! I will also try to stick to my nutritional changes too.
I'm with KTTAYLOR21 I know I haven't been here long but I really like Spark and can see myself using it along time
my ebay listings are at shop.ebay.com:80/cjansen/m.html?_dmd
I go on SP and look at my SP friends that are really making progress and their story just motivate me to get myself in gear. This is where I am currently and it's truely a struggle.

My biggest motivation is clothes that no longer fit. When you've given away all your "fat" clothes and what you have left gets tight it's time to reassess what you're not doing/doing that isn't working.
Save the earth. It's the only planet with chocolate!
I returned to SP after leaving SP after returning to SP after leaving SP after starting SP. What a goofy rollercoaster.
I can't really answer this question. Sometimes I let my lack of motivation get the best of me and I actually quit. I put off exercising and then just do it sporadically. I stop logging my food then lie to myself about how much I've eaten on any given day and then wonder why I've gained 10 pounds.
Now, I don't know if this is going to be different this time. I really don't. But I'm here today. I'm logging my food today. I exercised today. I will do more exercise tonight. That's the best I can do and it's enough...it feels good, too!
I think the best way I can stick with this lifestyle change is to stick with SP. I can't find another way that works for me. I don't hold myself accountable on my own; I just don't. I finally figured out that I have to be completely honest and the only way I am is to check in here on a regular basis - and that means daily!
Life is too short not to LIVE OUT LOUD!
I take a day or two off workouts and do something indulgent. Like a pedicure, or buying a new pair of shoes. I love shoes.
anyway - just a little reward and some time to let my muscles relax seems to energize me.
Or watching the US Open with all those perfectly fit women in cute little tennis skirts....... Seriously - sometimes watching athletic, fit people gets me back on track.
Have a GREAT day!

I go shopping or try on clothes that used to be loose and I wait it out trying to make the best choices possible until I can get my head and heart lined up again.

My husband. He pushes me just enough to get me motivated but not too much that it makes me mad. LOL!

I look at picture of me at my heaviest :) I'll try different fruits or change up what I'm eating yet still keep it healthy. I NEVER want to go back to where I was!
Thanks for doing this :)
1. Exercise 3-5 days a week
2. Get my vitamins in daily
3. Get my fluids in daily - water or crystal lite.
4. Get under 200 by the end of the year.
5. Stay positive - life is good :)
new food or new recipe to try. it doesn't usually work though because my family is too darn picky.

My spouse is always reminding me and pushing me to achieve my goals to be healthy. He is my rock on which I lean when the going gets tough.
While I do depend on Sparkpeople but my time online is limited so I mostly depend on him and my own strength of will.

I am loved!
"You have to find something that you love enough to be able to take risks, jump over the hurdles and break through the brick walls that are always going to be placed in front of you. If you don't have that kind of feeling for what it is you are doing, you'll stop at the first giant hurdle."
As far as nutritional goals, I search online for new recipes and look in the grocery store for new foods to introduce to help relieve the boredom. As for fitness, I search for a new activity, a new fitness DVD, something different to keep me going.

When you start to get burned out from following your health and nutrition goals, how do you get yourself back in the game? Any suggestions for those who need them?
