Sorry it took me so long to get back, but that sounds great! There are 2 beginning yoga videos from Coach Nicole - one on using blocks and one on using straps for new yoga practicioners. If you go to "Healthy Lifestyles" and click on "Videos", then click "View all fitness videos". The 2 yoga videos are the very last at the bottom of the page. They don't actually instruct in yoga though, but they give tips about how to use those props correctly. I'll check out the challenge you have posted!

I couldn't find any yoga ones on here unless I am looking in the wrong places. I don't have any but will check them out and maybe work up a weekly challenge for us to complete as we go. I think I will go ahead and start one for 15 minutes of cardio beginning from yesterday and running through Saturday, then start one from Sunday through Saturday for the next week.

That video sounds great! I think that there are also some yoga exercises posted by Coach Nicole here on Spark (I'll check). I also like the idea of increasing the workout time weekly. Let me check on the yoga videos on this site and I'll get back to you!

I like the idea of a yoga challenge. The video I have has exercises for beginners, intermediate and advanced. How would we make a yoga challenge work?

What about a challenge increasing the workouts each week. For instance starting out with first week 10 minutes of exercise 3 to 4 days per week, then the week after increase to 15 minutes 3 to 4 times, then 20 minutes 3 to 4 till we make it to 30 and see how it goes. Also what is involved in Yoga. I have never tried it but wondered how it would go.

I think it would be great if this was a bit different. In the one that I'm currently doing we get points for working out, logging our food and drinking water, and we try to gain as many points as possible weekly. I'd like to see something workout-related, but not too difficult so people with bad asthma can participate and not feel like its too much. Maybe a challenge to get in a workout every day for 30 days? Or maybe a yoga challenge (it helps with breathing and increasing lung capacity)?

Just wondering if anyone is up for a challenge and any ideas. We could do a step challenge for fitness minute challenge or water/fruit and veggie on. Let me know what you think because I know other teams set them up and I don't want to bog anyone down with too many.
