Today I did not measure my cardio but I set up my kids swimming pool and done lots of sweating and hard work.

I have to admit to not knowing what the last few days have been...I know I walked for 30 minutes each day, Monday I lifted boxes weighing 20 to 50 pounds for over 4 hours, yesterday was lifting several 20 pound bags of ice and wood and such emoticon

Ok for yesterday I let that be my slow day and did 30 minutes of heavy cleaning. That included moving my kitchen table and chairs around, mopping the floor, wiping down the walls and cabinets. Did a major overhaul in my kitchen.

Okay for today I got 65 min cardio and 50 strength training.

I ran 1 mile with only two short stops to breathe!!
I also did Tae Bo and WATP.

I forgot too Cathy.
30 minutes or 2 miles of walking and 60 mintues of heavy digging up a water line. Sweated away the pounds with that one. Man I don't like leaks.

I will do my best to get 5 to 10 miles in a week, but it won't be cardio due to our high pollen count. Right now I am walking and slowly working on increasing my pace.

I just got done doing a 1 1/2 hours work cleaning my van so does that count for cardio. That includes washing and cleaning the inside and armour alling it.

I got my cardio in. I decided today that I would start running. I have been thinking about it for a while and today (with my dog) I started running and did better than I thought I could. I ran about half a mile (with stops). I want to be able to run a mile without stopping by the end of the month!

I took my grandson for a 30 min walk. Does pushing a stroller count as strength training? LOL I think pumping the arms is probably better.

Let's try and do 5-10 miles per week in some form of cardio that's raises the heart rate. If you do 30 minutes a day that usually counts as 1 mile in walking tapes so I think all of you should be able to get that in but if not just do what is recommended you do and post it. It is not about who does more here but just that we do it for a healthy life. I will post some other things we all can do too so post what you get done each day or weekly.

1. 5-10 miles of cardio weekly
2. 30-90 minutes of strength training in one week
3. 5 fruits and vegetables each day
4. 8 glasses of water each day
5. visiting members pages and leaving encouraging comments or spark goodies.
6. using your trackers or journaling each day.
7. leaving comments on our blogs.

I hope this will give you several options to do since we all can't do cardio as others do and just make it fun. I am starting to do my cardio with my children and that's a fun way to really encourage and motivate them into moving. Take care all and please join me with this.
