As much as want things to quick & fast, the reality is it won't be.

I like the idea of small rewards for reaching weekly goals. I'm going to try that this week. Thanks for the idea. I have been struggling for months as well. I am not giving up, keep pushing forward.

I also love the idea of rewards...I'll do something small for meeting mini-goals, like a new nailpolish, or a water bottle, etc for losing 10lbs, etc.

Remember - slow and steady wins the race :). You can do it!

1st Mini-Goal: 202.8 (Reward - new lunch box)

Have you tried rewarding yourself. I set small weekly goals, such as drinking 10 cups of water, eating 3 healthy meals a day, and exercising at least 3x a week. If I stick to my goals for the week, I reward myself. Nothing big, maybe a pair of earrings, a new body spray etc, Just gives you something to look forward to.

It sucks not going anywhere but don't give up on starting over. You will mess up but forgive yourself and never stop trying to get it right. It is not easty..I know, I have been trying to get my eating habits right since I started here back in April 2012. Try being in touch with how you feel. Eating healthy, exercise makes you feel better, even accomplished. Streaks have helped me and I find starting small like being healthy one day a week until the habit the develops and then improve afterwards. Hope that helps.

Seriously. I know it's been only a few days since I started back up on here, but even when I try to motivate myself with quotes, pictures, etc. I feel like I'm not getting anywhere. I don't feel like I'm changing any bad habits. I know it takes something like a month to form a habit and that I've a long way to go, but I don't want to stop halfway and realize it five months later.

I guess what I'm asking for is some encouragement and perhaps a weight loss buddy to check in. I know it's a lot to ask for, but doing this by myself is impossible because of the way I am. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks in advance.
