I am in the process of doing this right now even though I am only halfway thru my journey. My clothing is disorganized and I have never taken the time to properly set up a system in the 5 years I have owned this house. Aside from what fits me now I have 4 basic "piles" Donate it, throw it away, save it until it fits, and store it until warm weather. All of my too big clothes are going away, some of my old clothing is going away on the premise that no I will never wear it again even if it does fit. I plan on doing a big round of getting rid of things that don't fit again when I have settled at a size I am happy with. This time out it is more about organization and being able to find the things I do want to wear now and getting rid of things I have had a long time and never wear.

After I lose weight, and keep it off for a couple of months, I donate my old clothes too. But I am holding on to this beautiful sundress that I want to fit back into. So, no you're not crazy. Good luck on reaching all of your goals!

I am have decide that for Mother's Day I am going to clean out my closet. It is the midway point of this journey to fit and fabulous that I am on. I pray by then that I will have lost 30-35lbs of the 75 I want off of my body. One of my goals is to eliminate all the freaking sizes in my closet. I have size 22 to 10 in my closet. I am going to give everything that is to big away-even if I love it. It will be a huge motivator I think to not be able to get comfortable and slip back into the fat end of my closet plus it means new clothes. Does that sound crazy?
