Don't let it get you down. Today is a new day and another day for opportunity. Opportunity to make the right food choices. Opportunity to get out and exercise and blow off some of that excess steam/self loathing/self doubt/exasperation (pick one). Opportunity to train your dog to be on YOUR schedule...not vice versa. As women, we always beat ourselves up over everything. We self-loathe instead of self-love/nurture ourselves. And, we need to be more forgiving of ourselves. In the end...we're the only ones we've got and we're stuck with ourselves. So...love yourself...forgive yourself...and move forward!!! We're all rooting for you!!!!

Oh, and I should've added that there's a team called Determination and Accountability where you can get Health partners to help you be accountable. I don't know if you know about that one or not. I thought that I would just list it here in case. I am a member of that team, just joined, and don't quite have a partner to work with yet. Good luck to you again!

Remember you cant change yesterday- all you can do is move forward and work hard TODAY!
Since you have a new puppy that crams your gym style, why dont you change your habit? Instead of walking your pup, why dont you jog with him? Start teaching him fetch ... even if it means you "fetching"- use it as an exercise!
Sometimes our lives change so we have to change and bend with it- otherwise we'll break!
You can do this! Keep going! Remember you can be there for your friends emotionally without being there for their emotional eating! Offer to walk with a friend, bring them to the gym as a guest, take a fitness class together- moving will help them emotionally too! Its a win win!
Just take it one day at at time - keep tracking - keep moving - keep the momentum- even if it doesnt "look" like yesterday - THATS OK! Its TODAY afterall ... You can do this! Push Hard!

Hi there and so sorry that you feel that you're struggling. I think alot of us are in the same boat. I sure have felt that I have been pretty much since September. Stagnant is the word because it's been pretty much a plateau, but really there's emotional eating thrown in there too for good measure, or I should say, for bad measure!! I also feel like I'm getting back on track because of getting back into a normal routine once again. Thanksgiving really through me off all the more because we were gone for 4 days down to our daughter and son-in-laws for a get-away and to eat what our daughter cooked was havoc to say the least. How do you eat a little bit of everything and try to get by without much fruit at all in the house and anything else more healthy?! I really messed up with not taking anything extra. I did take a couple of healthy granola bars but ended up eating them on the way down! I think alot of the essence of this eating problem, is pure planning. Planning so we're not so tempted to eat things that aren't so healthy. We can do it, I know we can! I'll find your page and add you and then we can really encourage each other. Feel free to add me back!
