I would like to give this a try. I have been off the boards for a long time- finishing up my bachelor's degree, working, and doing a social work internship, so I need to get back on track. I am in the master's program, but I will have a more "normal" schedule- no more evening classes. I need to do this. I can't afford to get any bigger.

Ok I am late joining but I would love to do this

May-- 52.3 (295) not my worst but its getting there again :(

My goals ~
1.) To maintain my single serving rule on all food
2.) To get on schedule as far as walking and working out
3.) Drink more water
4.) Learn how to take time for me :)
5.) to Lose 30 pounds in 90 days ( today is 5/29/13) so by end of August be down 30 pounds :)

Hey SMUNTIS hope you don't mind me using your post as a template, it looks great! (oh man I just typed all this and blasted internet had a fit, obstacle no. 1 :P )

So planning on an average loss of 6lbs/month and weigh in at the end of every month (that will be giving me an average loss of 1.5lbs/week.

As my friend Sinead likes to say - 'We got this'!

Current BMI: 33.3
Current Weight: 188
Goal Weight: 140
No longer obese BMI:29.9 or less
Healthy BMI: 25-18.5

According to Wikipedia, I have to get down to 253.7 to get out of the "super obese" category and get down to "morbid obese".

My starting BMI is 43.4 (245lbs) (morbidly obese - well that makes a girl feel good!)

To have a BMI under 40 I need to weigh 225lbs (very obese)
To have a BMI under 35 I need to weigh 197lbs (obese)
To have a BMI under 30 I need to weigh 169lbs (overweight)
To have a BMI under 25 I need to weigh 140lbs (normal)

Hello Ladies! I hope this challenge is going well for you all. I need a major boast, so I am redirecting and starting this challenge super late. The goal is 20 lbs by August,and 40 by the end of the year. LET'S DO THIS! I have to finish what I started, and this will get me to a very good place!
