2 weeks into the January challenge and I'm down 5lbs to 170.2! Halfway there, but the scale is moving EXTRA SLOW this week... ticking closer by 0.2 each time I weight in, frustrating considering I'm working out and eating right. Just gotta keep it going and hope for a larger drop one of these days/weeks!

2 more weeks to go everyone! Keep up the hard work, we're almost there!! :)

Nix I love bodypump classes. Amazingly my tiny town offers it 3 times per week. I loved going but I needed to cut back on being gone b/c of my two little ones so I haven't been in a while. However, I think that it is AWESOME!

Nix, I'm not going to weigh again until the last day as well. I get too obsessive when I weigh every week. This way I am keeping my stress level down, and will hopefully see a nice number when I do weigh in!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOT! I haven't weighed.. going to wait til the last day! EEP! LOL

I have been on an up and down trek with it, but am not giving up. I'm so busy sometimes I can't even breathe, but I have to remind myself that all the things keeping me busy are for my future awesomeness. And, I am meeting with a publisher this week. GAH! Ok, enough of that...


Have you guys tried Body Pump? Or "Les Mills Pump"?? I am going to try it this week (a lovely friend is loaning it to me!). I bought my own bar and got cute lifting gloves and everything. I need something to kick me back into gear. I hope thats it!

Next sunday (the 20th) is my next official measuring day and I have one more scheduled for the 31st. I have been keeping up my workouts though and keeping up on the push up challenge. I have been increasing my modified push ups as I feel I can and doing any remaining push ups for the day as stairs or counter push ups. I am for sure joining the Abs challenge next month so I have a goal of doing knee or traditional push ups for all of those. I am making progress and I hope my inches and weight show it when I hop back on the scale and measure.

Jessie, 4 inches is still pretty awesome even if no pounds have gone away yet.

Let's do this!!! I'm going to try to get 15 in Jan like I promised one of my best friends who's a trainer and who is so supportive of me. I started on 12/23 and I promised I'd lose 15lbs by Feb. So, I will do the "10 in Jan" but add an extra week (from Dec) and do 5 more lbs.

12/23/2012 - 230.0lbs (Start)
Current: 226.0lbs (-4.0lbs)

I got this! I've peeked at the scale this week and I am kicking some serious BUTT! So, I know I can make this happen. I'll check back with you guys on Friday after weigh-in. Hope you're feeling better Nix! I've been congested since yesterday, it sucks, but I'm fighting it! So that 197 starting weight must have been what I remembered my weight being from weighing myself a few weeks ago, but when I weighed myself the next day after signing up for this challenge I was at like 204! I refuse to be back in the 200's and I refuse to put it on my tracker! emoticon I'm at 200 as of this morning. I'm still going to stick with my goal of 187. I've been working out and I started C25K today! I did a total of 3.1 miles today. Woo hoo! Keep up the good work! emoticon

Checking in to say I'm still with you ladies!

My plan: Doing what I love!! Saying no to overeating means saying yes to better health and a slimmer body and by overeating, I mean even one bite past what I need in that moment.

Saying no to exercise I hate, means saying yes to what I love: walking and hiking with my dogs, setting a goal of 12,000 steps a day, yoga, dancing, some cardio and strength training when it moves me.

What are you going to say "yes" to today?!

I know the inches may be hard but I am going to aim for either.. 10 lbs Jan 8 189 Jan 31 178 or inches would be waist I am concerned 38 Jan 8 - 28 Jan 31..

Down 3lbs already! Been working out 4 days a week minimum, continuing my new strength training routine 2-3x a week and eating really healthy! The no-alcohol part has not been fun, with social events and all, but I'm stickin to it!

Okay so I started my boot camp this morning and my official starting weight is 180 so my goal weight is 170. They also took measurements so I'm hoping for the 10 inches as well.

On a side note, I haven't weighed myself in almost 6 months and while I tried to be good over the holidays I was a little concerned about my weight. While I'm never happy with a gain, I was only up 2 lbs over the last 6 months. Not too bad for maintaining!!!

All of ladies rock! I actually have to repost my weight but here are my goals
I actually started at 242 after Christmas and restarted on New Years day. Getting rid of Sugar sure does do a body good!

You know, I have strep throat and was told not to do cardio (congestion = issues) and, at first, I was grouchy but.. I am so excited to be told if I can workout tomorrow.. haha Who thought I would ever say that!?? lol I miss cardio! o.O

I'm totally in on this one!! I have been stuck for a while...not necessarily gaining but I'm definitely not losing. I'm starting an 8 week boot camp tomorrow hoping to kick it into gear so hopefully that works. I'll post weight and measurements tomorrow after we take them in class.
