I have the exact same feeling about online dating...and dating period....I also think that people have preconcieved notions about people who are overweight...I don't even check the site anymore I'm just on there because I paid for the year and waiting for it to be over already

I am right there with you. Every guy I would have liked to get to know what athletic but I feel that when they saw my pic it was all over. I actually just canceled my Match.com subscription because I only got email from 3 people when I sent at least a hundred.

So recently I started doing some online dating. Ugh. Terrible out there. I'm on several sites and I find that most of the guys I like are pretty athletic. But I don't get many responses from those guys. I can't help but think it is because they assume certain things about me given my size. Plus, I'm self conscious and worried about my size. I'm struggling with just quitting until I lose the weight. Anyone else have similar experiences?
