Oh my gosh it's November 1st already! I made it through Halloween, but I must admit I did have a few treats last night. Thankfully it was really just a few, not the entire bowlful like it used to be. Big cheers for everyone who stuck with this challenge!

Oops - I forgot to check in until today.
I was right, my TOM was temporarily increasing my weight a little bit. It's gone now so I have officially made my goal and then some! This is VERY unusual for me...I usually set goals and don't come close to meeting them, but I've worked extra hard this time. I've been running diligently three times a week and finally ran my first 5K. Now I'm looking forward to November 1st and setting a brand new goal!

Well, I've gone the wrong way! I gained about 2.6lbs since I started on the 7th. But, I will get back to this. Actually, I'm kicking some serious butt this week.

10/14/2012 - Goal: 206.0lbs; Actual: 209.2lbs

It's a snowy Monday here, but I got out for a run anyway! emoticon emoticon
I actually made it below my goal weight at the end of last week, but I went out for a (very long overdue) date night with my hubby on Saturday night. I had a fairly healthy meal but we each had a dessert and we went for a few drinks afterward. I ended up gaining just over a pound back. I'm also due for my TOM any minute now so I suspect it's mostly water and it'll disappear in a day or two. I should be on track for my goal for like the first time ever!

I know this challenge is almost over but I just discovered it today. I went back and pulled my weight tracker on here and according to it, my weight on 9/17 was 281 so I will go with that.

SW (9/17): 281lbs
CW (10/16): 270lbs
GW (11/1): 265lbs
That would put me down 16lbs since 9-17 and at my "Halloween Goal Weight" of 265 :-)

Hey had a pretty good day and working to make today better! I bought some peaches and well I should have let my husband buy them, he knows how to pick out peaches. These are ok but not as sweet as what he bought last week. (He bought 4 and I ate 3 emoticon ) I blamed my dogs. Happy Monday, everyone!
Just thought I'd check in and see how everyone is doing :)

I managed to eat a VERY controlled portion of Chinese food this weekend and managed not to gain anything from it. I had about lots of extra water to try to counteract the sodium too. I'm getting very excited to be so close to Onederland!!!

Well, I'm in! Kinda late but, I'm all up for it. I weigh in on Sundays so, I would have about 4 weigh-ins or so. At about 1.5lbs each weigh in, that would be a goal of 6lbs lost.

How is everyone doing?

Hi everyone! I just found this challenge and I hope you don't mind if I jump in. I recommitted to my weight loss plan a couple of weeks ago and this challenge lines up with my first weight loss goal - to break into Onederland! My fitness goal is to run 5K on October 31st!

Ughh, I went up 5 lbs. I believe I did majority if not all of it this week. bad week with emotions and all that needed to be done this week. My goal is to get back on track.

I have NO idea where I am so far, but... I weigh in on Saturday, so.. *fingers crossed* I feel icky and grouchy today (I'm on birth control, but my period started a week early... WEIRD!). I am hoping a little exercise and a warm cup of tea will knock off my grouchy attitude for today. LOL... Someone should pray about that... (my hubby for starters! LOL).

I've "treated" myself to 45 minutes on the crosstrainer and an hour of Tai Chi yesterday.

Normally Tai Chi is soothing and relaxing.. but not when you study a new form. My heartrate was up to 145 in between. And today I feel a lot of muscles which I normally don't feel ;)

I haven't dressed up for halloween since I was like 22. I was a clown then. No plans to dress up this year.

So looking forward to Zumba this afternoon.

Ohh, someone came up to me today and said I looked like I lost weight. That put a smile on my face since I haven't weighed in since the beginning of the month. I do feel like my clothes are looser so we shall see Oct. 1st.

I'd like to join, but I am twisting the challenge a bit for myself. I've been doing the 30 Day Shred since Sept 1st and just cannot lose weight with it. I've lost inches, but not a single pound. After I'm done with the Shred, I'm going to start another Jillian workout on October and do that for the entire month. If my body holds true and I lose inches but no weight, I'd like to twist my goal to be 10 inches instead of 10 pounds. I did measure on the 15th, so I can use those measurements and compare them to ones taken on Halloween.

Hi Team!,

I'm so excited to be doing this challenge with you all!!! I started around 6 years ago to get the 70+ lbs. off. This is good time of year to be able to do more walking; helps keep me going.

We will check in each Sunday with either our starting and ending weight for that week or # of lbs. lost for that week; which ever way works best for you.

Tomorrow is our official start date!!!

This sounds awesome! I typically lose around a pound a week when I'm eating correctly, so this will be an awesome challenge to get back into exercising more regularly.....and i JUST bought a hula hoop to have fun with.

Plus this is going to be great motivation to not eat to many treats in October, my birthday is the 27th and with Halloween (a top favorite holiday), I won't want to sabotage my (hopefully) success in the challenge.

So excited!

I am in this will give me a reason to go outside & talk longer walks. Now that it is getting cooler I can go for walks in the woods behind our mobile home park. This year when the leaves need to be raked I will do it.

CHALLENGE:*TREAT* yourself to a 10 lb. loss emoticon
Starts: Sunday, Sept. 16th
Ends: Thursday, Nov. 1st

We have 6 1/2 weeks starting Sunday, Sept. 16th thru Oct. 31st to lose 10 lbs.; that's approx. 1.5 lbs. per week.

I'm not going to specify any "have too" exercises. Let's just encourage one another to stay moving and eat healthy.

I'm motivated!!!
