I am sssllllooooooowllyyy creeping back into fitness activities. My spouse hasn't been able to exercise since she hurt her knee in early December, so I'm going it alone.

During January, my upper hip/torso really began hurting me. It sucks, since I sleep on my side and the OTHER hip doesn't want to hold my weight all night. Trying to sleep on my back again...

I began doing some of my old physical therapy stretches and have added a trochanter stretch that hurts like h---. I have also begun doing some of the lesser exercises, like walking. Anyway, it seems to be unlocking the joint. Maybe I NEED to keep moving the body to PREVENT this sort of thing... I didn't exercise at all for a couple of weeks after Xmas, and that was when the current round of pain started!

Crunches: 192 (3 sets of 64)
Running: 1.5 miles in 12'54
Intervals: 20 minutes (1.625 miles)

Running: 1.5 miles in 12'49
Intervals: 20 minutes (1.625 miles)

I was away for a while, but now I'm back. It was a it of a struggle to get back into the gym habit, but one of the motivations I always had was to post my workout here.

My current workout is:

Do 3 sets of X pushups (where x is currently down to 47, working my way back up to 60-70)

Do 3 sets of X situps (where X is currently 55)

Run 1.5 miles (currently being done in 12-13 minutes, far too slow)

Walking/Running intervals for 20 minutes (usually about 1.62 miles)
