From 1-31 October I am challenging each of you to get rid of some of your stash. What this will involve.
During September think of what you would like to make in October. For yarn, count the skeins, fabric the yards, your other projects whatever the measurement is on that. and then write in the count on the thread I will be starting for this in about two weeks.
Each week, come back to your posting and using the edit key, write down how much of your stash you have used each week. If you have finished your initial stash and want to add more, please do so.
Some will use all their stash others will not. The idea is to get the stash out of your house and into a finished project.
I will be going through my books and pulling out the yarn for them and putting them aside for this.
Everybody tells me that they would love to knit, but they don't have time. I look at people's lives and I can see opportunity and time for knitting all over the place. The time spent riding the bus each day? That's a pair of socks over a month. Waiting in line? Mittens. Watching TV? Buckets of wasted time that could be an exquisite lace shawl. ~Stephanie Pearl-McPhee, At Knit's End: Meditations for Women Who Knit Too Much
