I never seem to make as many points as I'd like but for me it seems to be more about the accountability. Saying I'll do something every day and then having to come here and put that in writing. I'm enjoying it and can't wait for the next one. Thanks, Kim!

Roses, how did you do on the challenge?
I didn't make as many points as I had liked...just didn't have the chance to get online as much as I had hoped to. But I did want to thank all of you who made sweet comments on the friend's feed and participate in this challenge.

Does anyone have plans for the Mardi Gras weekend? Do you have a special tradition...meal....event?
Each year there is a big Mardi Gras event downtown....parade, beads, vendors, food, drinks...all kinds of things. But this year we'll be skipping that and going on a nice long walk at a nearby park that we discovered just a few months ago.

Hi Roses!
So what are your plans for Valentine's Day? Are you doing anything special? Going out to eat? Getting a card for that special someone? I'm taking hubby out for Valentine's Day to his choice of restaurants. And I will eat only half and bring the other half home for lunch on Wednesday. And I'll cut back a little on breakfast and lunch that day so I can have a little more "wiggle" room on the calorie front. Plus I'll get in a little extra exercise in by walking around the mall (where the restuarant is) a couple times after dinner.

Good evening everyone. I'm not doing too bad this week. I have stayed on track and actually have walked more that I ever have from previous challenges. I also gazelle and do resistant bands to keep up momentum.
Wannabee, I also am at a sit down job daily. It's hard. I do half of my exercising in the AM before work and the other half when I get home. It breaks it up, plus it deeps the metabolism going throughout the day.

Good morning, Roses,
How is the challenge going for everyone? I'm having a difficult time getting those calories burned numbers to rise. Having a sedetary job doesn't help, but I do try to get in those steps whenever I can. Does anyone else wear a pedometer? Usually I can get in 7K steps a day in the winter, but sometimes that is hard too.

I fell from that proverbial wagon with a great "KERPLUNK!" and overate too much of the wrong food!
Today I am paying for it big time.... But, I'm back up on that "wagon" again today and hope to ace the challenge.
